Don't worry if you see hairs starting to grow up your penis, it is just you getting older and becoming a man, there is nothing
the matter with that happening to you. When I was 15 or 16 I noticed that happening to me, wow I thought thats great, nice
lost of hair appearing not just around my penis but on it as well, I did not run to a doctor worried that this was something wrong with me or write to some magazine wondering what was happening down there (no Internet when I was 15) So just
admire the hairs gradually getting longer and gradually spreading most of the way up your penis. By the time you are 20, you like me when that age will have a hairy penis that you are so proud of. Good luck

hey guys i noticed a lot you started growing hair on your penises when you were fairly young.  i'm in my mid 40s, and this didn't start to happen to me until my late 30s.  also i noticed someone posted that it happens to circumcised penises because of the growth of scrotum skin.  well, i'm uncircumcised, so this is particularly embarrassing because it grows all the way up the shaft.  but anyhow, i've been shaving it off for some time.  i will usually go over it with an electric groomer and then finish with a razor.  thanks to all you guys for sharing this

The myth is a myth. Coze if you were a hairy man (like me) you would know, that shaving will make it grow faster, stronger and darker. I my self is living proof.

Had this for as far back as I can remember having pubes. It sucks penis. I've been shaving it since I was 13, I'm 20 now and f*****g regret it. For those of you who're as far in to this as I am, I usually just apply a buttload of hair conditioner, leave it on for a while, wash off, shave and shampoo. It usually helps out the stubble making it less coarse when it grows.

Really f*****g lame.

I read most of the posts and thought I should weigh in. I'm a 29 year old woman married to a man who is NOT circumcised and has hair on his penis. First let me say that circumcision has nothing to do with hair growing on your penis. Second it's not a big deal to women at all and it's actually pretty common. It's only slightly uncomfortable for women when giving oral sex, but if you groom then again, no big deal. I know it seems like a big deal but trust me it's not. And it's pretty common. So don't worry so much. Trust me. :) no big deal. My sorority sisters and I used to chat about different anomalies. This one is low on the totem pole. Hope that helps! :)

There is a product called Nair that removes hair. The hair will grow back so periodic applications are necessary. Keep it off of the mucosa.

I am having hair on my penis and all of my pubic area removed by laser. If you go to a reputable place you will not have problems. It is very pricy but well worth it. Laser is the only way for permanent removal. You will need to go around 6 regular treatments and 3 or 4 maint. treatments. The process is only a bit of pain with the laser but you will never see hair again and, if you go to a good place they guarantee their work so if you do you go back and zap it is gone. One of the best things is that you are so much cleaner looking and you never have to shave or tweez. The plus is that you will look a bit bigger without all the hair.

Good luck what ever you do but I am so happy I chose laser I am almost hair free and have only been to 2 treatments.

I have the same problem. I'm 17.

When I am erect, it is more noticable, that there are little white bumps on the left side of my penis with hairs growing out of them. I talked to a few girls I know that I am comfortable with talking about this kinda stuff with, and they said that they have had penis, right up in their faces, and have never seen hairs on a penis before.

I read on Yahoo, that it might indicate a sudden growth spurt in the penis? Can anyone put some validation to that?

Regarding hairy fingers looking like a werewolfs, I noticed that I have quite hairy fingers as well, its not a thing that I have bothered with much often, I am sure my fingers have been hairy for a long time now. It is especially noticeable when the sun shines on them at certain angles, in fact at times looks quite sexy, not everyone has hairy fingers, be happy if you do.

It is quite common for pubic hair to grow up to the head of your penis, This happened to me in my teenage years, having some other problems like most teenagers have, hairs growing to the top of my penis was "problem" No. 100 in the 100 small problems I had, in other word not a problem, I was very happy to have a very hairy pubic area with the hairs extending all the way up the shaft of my penis. There are several ways to remove the hair if you really want to but that would make your penis look like the penis of a little boy, just leave it manly and hairy.

result of circumcision. laser may cause permanent scarring even if you are considered a perfect candidate.

I heard about this from a friend and thought it was superweird and had to look it up on the internet. After I ready the posts I started checking out my wiener and saw that I have lots of hair growing half way up under my rather large shaft! I'm in my 40's and never even noticed even though I play with it every day! I think it looks hot now that I notice it's there!

That's OK, I know men do feel strongly about this subject. We all want to have friendly discussions here on Steady Health, no one wants to argue.

Interesting post from you 'johnson' yes, I am like that as well although I am OLD at 67, I feel YOUNG and fit, I still 'play' with my large and very hairy penis every day. Being hairy as you say makes it look hot, it is not true that if you shave your penis it makes it look bigger, some people who have seen my large penis though the years have said words like "its enormous" like a donkeys, as big as fxxk, etc, I like your last sentence "I think it looks hot now that I notice it's (the hair) there, strange that you have not noticed the hair before, I have had hair on my penis since I was 14 and never shaved or trimmed any of it off in all that time, its really very long now.
