get the surgery
Hi guys. Week 3 post op here. My ding a ling is still swollen. Looks like I went from cut to uncut there. One thing that helped me alot the first week was using a cane. Getting out of bed is painful so I hooked the cane on the head board and pulled myself out of bed. Saved me some pain with that. I guess we've all taken for granted the muscles we use to get up off a couch or bed over the years.
I also used the bottom step of a step ladder to get me in my F250. Good investment. Good Luck everyone. I wish you all a pain free 2015
MY TETICLE IS AS BIG AS A WATERMELLON AND MY PENIS IS HUGE WITH SKIN, AND I CAN;T URINATE...SURGERY WAS MONDAY AND IT IS THURSDAY....BOTH BLACK AS ACE 0F SPADES
Swelling after the hernia surgery for few weeks or one month is quite normal. But if it is going to continue for number of months or years then it would be a really complicated problem. It may be due to entrapment, nerve injury or any reaction to the mesh. If the nerve handling is done properly at the time of hernia repair then it can decrease the chronic pain to an extent.I heard that Shouldice Hospital in Ontario is a world renowned experts in these kind of causes, preventions and also provide better surgical treatment for hernias without any pain. So it is better you to consult them at the earliest and seek their advice.
Just had my surgery Thursday & today is Saturday & right side repair but my entire sack is 3 times it's normal size & both penis & balls dark, he has me on strong pain killers 2 every 4 hours & I need help getting to the bathroom & it is hard to urinate & just can not have a bowl movement, he actually prescribed laxative knowing I already take softeners?? My next appointment is the 12th of February & my pain script has 50 pills, the pain & pressure I feel is the single worst thing I have ever experienced in my life & I am 50, & have had some pretty bad stuff happen to me, but hands down, this is the worst. Good luck to all & @ this point I will wait out the weekend & either ER or call Doc on Monday if it is the same. He never said anything about this side affect & was pretty froth coming on the pain so???
Hi there. I need your help. Im experiencing the same exact thing. I had an inguinal hernia repaired 11 days ago and my left testicle is swollen and it feels like the spermatic cord is hard and stiff and runs up war into the inguinal canal. Its very thick even thicker than my thumb. Can you tell me if this got any better? Will this go away? How long did it last for you? Im so full of questions and so worried since the doctor told me it was normal and would go away in 3 months but I really don't feel like something is right down there. It doesn't really hurt at all but its so uncomfortable. This is worse than the hernia I had to be honest. Please give me some insight and let me known what can I do if possible.
Amen. I just freaked out, expecting my schlong to fall off at any minute, and ran (as best I could considering the situation) to find the car keys and head to the hospital. I did call them ahead of time, demanding urology to be prepared to clear the runway for me and perform whatever emergency magic was needed to save my junk. Their very laid back attitude, "eh... ya, you can come and see us if you like." MY PENIS IS BLACK AND SWOLLEN - WHY IS NO ONE ELSE CONCERNED HERE?!? Well, as it turned out some ice and elevation has improved the situation and reading the above (all symptoms VERY close to me) has put my mind at rest. Doctors really, REALLY, need to give a little warning that this is a possible post surgery effect. I mean seriously - seeing this with no warning was a fairly harrowing experience. Looks like I may indeed live to have sex another day. Whew...
Regards this post I also had inguinal surge done 4 days ago and although technically there is little actual pain the member and gonads are vastly larger than normal with discomfort, discoloration, swelling, and itching. I am relieved to see that these are not abnormal issues from this site. My follow up visit is an a few days so I guess I won't panic yet.
