Please does anyone knows what this is. Each tiny bump is whitish in color and they are about 1/16 of an in inch in diameter max. Their number is in the hundreds, are dry and seem to be hollow and itch like crazy. I have them around my ankles and they they thin out as they radiate to the top of my foot. At first I thought they were some type of wart or musculosum contagiosum but they were way too small and didn't have the characteristic dimpling in the center. They come and go. It's the deep itching that drives me nuts. Yes I've seen a dermatologist, with a month long wait by the time I get in they're gone. I'm a retired woman's health nurse practitioner so I'm not that familiar with uncommon dermatitis so any information will be greatly appreciated.

These are stucco keratosis. Benign but there is no cure. You can try various remedies to get rid of them but they will return.

A dermatologist told me they are very common and just come with age. I'm 62 and have had this about 5 years. He said they're not harmful, and yes you can rub them off but they will come back. And they do. (I've had eczema bouts my entire life, but this isn't like eczema at all.) Very annoying. I exfoliate them and add creams, which is nice for a few days, then they come back.

Me too. Over the years ,they ve spread seen ,3 different dermatologist .that want to treat it as dry skin. It s not that . I think it ssome kind of fungal thing. My One Dermatologist offers lazor treatments for fungal treatment ,not covered by insurance. Too muchfor me.
