I hope they find a cure soon, the itchiness is a pain in the tush! I started getting these small white patches on my ankles in my late 20's, now nearly 15 years later they have spread. They come and go on my body and are so itchy. My husbands calls them dry spits because he can scratch them off for me. I call them annoying and disgusting. I've looked at many photos and the one that seems to match the best is the stucco keratosis.

I have the same condition, I talked to a dermatologist and he suggested using an oil called epilite I think it is spelled this way. He said they would go away. I haven't tried it yet but am going to pick up some of the oil tomorrow. It can't hurt. He told me the name of this condition but I don't remember what it is. I have noticed that when I use a good lotion, it reduces the amount. He is a very good dermatologist.

My Dermatologists told me it is Stucco Keratosis and prescribed Salicylic Acid after using that twice daily for several weeks they all left but now a year later they are back, I ask my Podiatrist if he would write a prescription for this cream but now Wal-Mart Pharmacy informed me their supplier no longer carries it, so I feel I'm up a tree and cannot get down.

This is so interesting that so far none of you have gotten a good answer! I have them too on the tops and sides of my feet. They almost " pop" when I scratch them. Guess they are not dangerous. I seem to get them after I shower and don't use lotion on my feet. Dry skin maybe?

I suffered for years with tiny little "miniature wart "looking growths on my feet, they can be scratched off with your fingernail. The answer is an amazingly simple one, buy a bottle of Nivea Maximum Hydration and every morning after bath/shower coat your feet or affected areas! Gone in a week.My feet are beautiful, what a relief

I think you're right. I'm going to direct my search accordingly now. Thanks. Do you know if this typically shows a symptom of white dots under the skin?
