I have experienced them too....did you find out what was going on?
I have had exactly the same thing several times. Comes on suddenly and goes away in 30-45 seconds that feel like an eternity, as if a heart attack is about to happen. Doc says my heart is Excellent "You have a runner's heart." I have worsening cervical arthritis symptoms at night & morning, but from responses below, that seems to be the culprit. While night/morning neck pain is worsening, and had mild numbness in my arms this a.m. no major episodes in last 2 months. Making appt. with physiatrist tomorrow.
I had one of those episodes 5 days ago. I also get optical migraines. Frequently.

I feel this too but it lasts a day or 2
I have been experiencing numbness and weakness in my arms. It happens very quickly. I also experience this tightness in my neck, like air pressure . It moves up to my ear region very slowly, and then it stops. It is very discomforting. Has anybody experienced this before?
It is not ridiculous. If the amount of mercury that is in a mercury amalgam filling were in a small lake, the EPA would declare that lake contaminated and the fish inedible owing to mercury toxicity. Yer that amount of a toxic heavy metal is in our head, inches from our brain, just above our thyroid and in a much smaller body than the volume of a lake. The highest suicide rate in professionals is among dentists....wonder if that might not be due to Hg overload. I'm a biologist.
Thank you! I kind of associate that with my numbness because for the last month I have been bent over playing games on my iPad and when I'm not doing that am sitting in front of my computer working. Putting the iPad down. Thanks again.
my sister hand started to shake a few weeks ago, and now she tells me she feels heaviness in that arm and it feels tired.. this is upsetting to hear this should she worry? is this a sign of blood clot? can someone help me here. I don't know what to do for her..
I also have both the symptoms you described... bilateral arm weakness and ocular migraines (with no pain). After reading what is here, I am guessing it is poor posture and staring at my computer all day under florescent lighting. I guess I just need to be mindful about good posture and giving my eyes a break.
I have the same symptoms throughout my arms and chest ! But I also have horrible panic attcks every day:( I wish someone could help me.. it scares me into a worse panic...
I had this happen today for first time. I had driven my car for about 45 min. When I got ready to get out of the car my arms lost all strength and I felt strange. After a minute it went away. Totally freaked me out. Still kinda freaked out. That was about 5 hours ago but it hasn't happened again.
I also have eye things including double vision, dizzy spells where it feels like I'm drugged or drunk, or flashing lights or black blind spots. It only lasts a minute or two. It doesn't happen at the same time as the arm tingling. Though the arm tingling usually makes me feel really bad or sick or something. Idk what it is. Been to the doctor for it moore than once. The doctor did some kind of sleep study where I had to stay the night at a clinic where they could monitor me. He said he thought it could be abdominal migranes. And suggested putting me on meds. I didn't because they are so short lived. Another doctor said it might be blood pressure. And I'd have to monitor it when I'm having symptoms to find out. Dont know if ive been able to check that accuratly because I have to get up and get the blood pressure cuff to check it. Which probably changes my bloodpressure. And because they are short lived. Idon't have time. Doing research online it looks like they could be ministrokes. Haven't had that checked yet. But usually I don't bring it up any more. No one seems to know what it is. Been meaning to go to the doctor about possible ministrokes but can't bring myself to do it. I do notice that the arm numbness and feeling terrible seem to happen in clusters meaning more than once a day and a few days in a row. They are scary
Please look up EFT, tapping, Emotional Freedom Techniques for panic. A recent clinical trial showed it lowered cortisol in participants 24% with only one hour of tapping. It looks weird and sounds wacky but it works and it's GREAT for panic attacks. 10 mins in the morning and 10 mins at night has been shown to dramatically reduce panic attacks during the day.
