No it’s not MS, stop frightening people. I had brain scan for exactly that problem and all was normal. I do have spinal problem in neck which makes sense if both arms are involved. One thing I did notice is When Intake nasal sprays I seem to get it more often.

Having same symptoms very heavy feeling can't move and goes away fairly quickly
Has anyone gotten a medical answer for this? This happens to me out of the blue about once every 6weeks. It brings me to my knees and scares the heck out of me. It's both arms going numb with no pain. It lasts about 30 seconds but leaves me feeling so shaky. Fortunately it has not happened while I'm driving but if it did, I would probably have an accident. Any answers?
I have been having this problem for about 2 years. I do have alot of spine issues along with 3 fusions(done recently) and a compression fracture at T1 from a horseback riding injury that healed without medical treatment 25 years ago. It is a very uncomfortable sensation that starts in my chest and runs down my arms. Makes me very weak feeling like I might faint but I don't. It is awful, like dreading a contraction coming on. My spine surgeon said it was signs of Thoracic Outlet Syndrome. He referred me to a Vascular Surgeon and now I am doing tests to rule out other things. He also says it is TOS.
I have the exact same symptoms and I went to see 3 différents doctors they have me doing all kind of test everything seems normal never have a solution for this pro brand that thing keep going on and on it is a very bad feeling it's happen several times during the day now even in bed I can Feel it please help
Thank you for the info
I am getting the same thing it' happening more and more
Yes I'm on a statin for 7 years. I have had this sudden pain in the arms for about 3 years. I wouls say 12 episodes with one bak to back episode at the fair this summer.?
The exact same thing you all are describing has happened to me twice now. So strange and unnerving! I was putting up Christmas decorations yesterday and it happened. Just like everyone says: lasts less than a minute, tingling warms (but not pain), weakness, fatigue after. It is a little scary -- nothing like this has ever happened to me. I too feel it is back/disc/spine/neck related. I have a bad neck and pop it multiple times a day. I've worked at a computer for decades and I also do crafts. So my neck is a constant issue.
Your description is my experience TO A TEE!!!! I've had it happen twice now. I'm going to do as you suggest "if" it comes on again. SO WEIRD!!!!!
I also have been dealing with much the same thing for the past 6 months or so. I feel it coming on and always both shoulders and arms and fingers at the very same time. It feels like a kind of heaviness or paralysis of sorts and I can not put pen to paper to write which is part of the repetitive motion of my job. I guess this explanation you gave makes sense. It is very scary when it happens and I can't help but think "heart attack" and currently I am going through some testing just to be sure.
You find anything out. Same thing happening here
I have both as well
I get both as well. I was told the migraines are opthamalic migraines. But just like yours, zigzag lines. It starts as a small circle And gradually gets bigger until it goes away... About 30 minutes like yours. They do not happen together. I'm 48, how old are you?
