Get checked for the early onset of pneumonia. Trust me

Your going to get pneumonia, go get chest xrays, although when the chest infection kicks in, you will probably need them again. Antibiotics kill the infection once it gets going. Can't explain why quitting causes this to happen. I picture a an open wound that is now trying to heal, and sometimes it will cause an infection . trust me. You've damaged your lungs.

Hi there to all, great to hear that I am not the only one feeling these pains.I have not had a cig cigarette in 84 days, I have been smoking for 32 years( I am 48 years old). the pain that we all are feeling is our body repairing the damage done to it, believe me, that if it was not for this site ,I would have ended in an asylum.Your stories and comments on this site has help me ease my fears and sanity. My pains( chest pain and back pains ,etc.) have eased off now ,and get them now and then, a lot less now.
So my words for those out there ,DON`T GIVE UP or IN TO IT, if you started this journey, keep going it is worth it. Good luck to all of you and well done, i am proud of being part of this group of great people.
