I have been going through this for the past 5 yrs since I had my son vaginally. I fill like I am going to have an O but nothing happens. This is me using my fingers. I could O at anytime. Now, nothing. It comes and goes. Now I have no insurance. (layoff). I will have to wait until I go back to work. I am going to get tested for MS. I have all those symptoms. I so do not want sex anymore. I just do what ever I have to for my husband. :(

sounds like me. I've been intimate since I was 16. finger first, then leading to actual intercourse. Now I'm completely numb. I can feel a general "ok, something is in there" but i cant actually feel it. I cant get wet. I can't be around. I can orgasm via clitoral stimulation but its more of a nuerological reaction and doesn't cause me to be aroused. It makes me feel like an outcast and a freak. We've tried positions and toys, and being on medicines or not did not make a difference. It makes it really hard to feel good in a relationship, and makes it seem more like a long term super close friendship. No, I was not sexually abused that I know of. I don't have any ms issues.

My girlfriend has had a problem similar to this. We've been having sex for over five months now, and yesterday she told me that her vagina went numb. She feels pleasure for about 5 minutes of sex, then her vagina goes numb and she feels nothing. If we keep having sex after that it starts to burn and she feels pain. She told me it just recently has gotten worse and that her vagina goes numb quicker. This doesn't make any sense to me.. Any help would be appreciated! She feels like a sex doll because she feels no pleasure, and just waits for me.

Thank you! She has a physical coming up in September and she's a little afraid to ask her doctor. I feel bad and wanted to see if there was anything we can do to fix it before we went to the doctor. That's good that you guys atleast get to enjoy the sex that you have though haha.

I have been having a lot of issues with this lately. for the past several years Sex has actually been painful not only did I not feel anything good but it then turned into pain. Either way it just was bad. I have in the past several years found out several things about my health, I am hyper mobile, have fibromialgia (atleast that is what i have been told) and now have come to find out that I have bulging disks in my lower spine. The past few months have become worse as now I have zero feeling inside vaginal walls during sex, also my legs are going in the same direction. ( I have a feeling that a lot of this is spine related. If you do a little looking around you will find that if you have spinal damage especially in your lower spine it can take feeling away from sexual organs. (this is for both males and females) You also do not necisarily have to be in a lot of pain to have a spinal injury. Just something to look into.

Antidepressants can destroy feeling in the genitals and anus, its a common side effect, yet not stressed nearly enough. Ive been suffering from the same thing after taking AD meds and there is no solution in sight. Doctors don't take it seriously and offer little but usually always no support, advice, or help. Biggest mistake of my life taking those meds but you live and learn. The biggest thing I learned is Antidepressants meds are c**p and the real solution to being depressed is TIME.

okay...haha i am sooooo glad to hear that i'm not the only one that experiences numbness down there also(;

well lets see..i am completely numb to the point where i will bleed during sexual intercourse! That's scary!

He says I'm too rough and that I need to take breaks. He's still new to the whole sexual intercourse so he does not have the amount of stamina as i have.

he doesn't mind me bleeding of course because he's enjoying it, but to me...am i enjoying it? When i am into it, i don't feel the same pleasure as he does! I.E. when we first tried the ice hot trojan condom...he felt it! i didnt it! i was so sad and burdened that he was able to feel the please and i was unable too :(

Currently I am research this bizarre experience i currently have.

A found a thread on ehealth forum where a 24 year old girl claims that she recovered her sensation after being treated for thrush.

I know a guy through another forum who recovered his sensation after taking very large doses of Nystatin in order to tread intestinal yeast overgrowth/thrush. He took 12 million units/day for months. He lost sensation after taking Propecia for hair loss.

If you can get a doctor to prescribe Nystatin in such a high dose, it's worth a try.

I have had the same problem all of my life... it has gotten worse the last few years, I am 38. I have had a hysterectomy and numerous hormone problems. When I tell my doctor, they just blow it off and give me some hormone, or medication to try. NOTHING has worked. If you find out what caused yours please respond back so that I will at least know. I will do the same. It sucks!
