I did the allergy testing and am allergic to a lot of things. They are injecting me with everything I am allergic to for several months to build up my immunity to see if that helps. I also had a kenalog shot. I haven't noticed a difference yet.
I had the same issue for years. It stopped for me when I stop smoking pot at night. . The muchiees and soda at night plus being a couch potato caused my issue . I found out about this because some guy from Australia had the same issue
Did you ever find this out my vomiting is tied to my menses too.
I have looked several times online to see what was wrong with me and if others have had the same symptoms I was experiencing. I have made several Doctor app. and all they have come up with is acid reflux caused by post nasal drip. I'm now on two different types of acid reflux medicine for it. Once in the am and one before bed to help the breakdown the acid in the stomach so I don't throw up in the morning. (These is the times I'm feeling congested the most and or nauseas ). It was always phlegm and now I've noticed its sometimes bile. Honestly I feel better mostly after I get it out but I cant live like this its horrible. They told me buy a wedge pillow($60 pillow by the way), don't eat chocolate, stay away from citrus, dairy(I don't really have anyway), don't eat past a certain time at night(I don't eat passed 7pm), no spicy food (this was the only thing I had difficulty with). After all this I still throw up and now they say you should go to GI to have a scope done. I thought I should make a ENT app. cause my Gram had really bad sinus issues and had to have it drained. I just don't know anymore. I feel like it has gotten to the point of feeling so crappy I don't even want to go to work when I wake up in the am. Hopefully I can find out what it is and how to fix it
Hey i have this same exact problem. Every morning even as i type this at 6:13 a.m. I sit in front of the toilet and throw up my phelgm is thick and white and clear. Its not always phelgm though its bile as well. It feels like heartburn when i wake up for the most part and when the bile comes up it burns and towrads the end is when the phelgm comes out
I have the same problem..very stressful job and in morning I throw that stuff up on the weekend when im relaxed it doesn't happen
I have been down the same route and after many doctor visits. I found out that I have allergies and am getting shots for them. The post nasal drip has almost stopped and I am getting better. I am also on Claritin, Zyrtec and use nasal cort every day! I think I finally found my combination!
Hi my 13 year daughter has been getting sick almost every morning for 3 years I took he to children's mercy they gave her allergy medicine and acid indigestion meds that she takes every night she has gotten a little better just not as severe as it was but yes she is woken up out of her sleep to puke. She is having an endoscopy in a couple weeks. Have you had any luck?
For a lot of people like me it's DRINKING, not SMOKING. I continued to smoke for a long time after I got gout in my hand and wrist. I gradually did not get the 'cough' then the vomiting which is not stomach based but more throat.
This happens to me as well I think it has to do with me smoking pot ever in result of taking the tar out mayabe
I have the very same problem, it started a few months ago, I wake up, I feel sick to my stomach, so I sit on the edge of the bed for a little bit, by the time I finally go to the bathroom I feel all the stuff in my nose building up and then it hits my throat and I end up throwing up a lot of phlegm, sometimes it is real fast and others I stand there and keep vomiting the phlegm, it is so frustrating, I wish we could find answers. I have tried drinking only water before bed, sucking on a cough drop, saline spray, nothing helps. GRRRR
I wake up every morning from this. Marijuana is what helps me but it's not a long term option. After throwing up It affects my mood and how I go about my day. It's horrible to go through everyday. I puke phlegm which looks like coffee grinds and yellow bile. I thought I was the only one going through this but I read up and at least no that I'm not alone. I think anxiety n stress play a huge role in this.
Thank you. I am going through the exact same thing. I use to be one that never had to vomit and now with this issue, I have to in order to feel better. I hate this! I am getting worried that excessive vomiting causes additional issues but it's all that makes me feel better. I drink ginger ale every day and that helps some.
Ditto, I even smoke weed too just to help, but it dosen't always and I can't always smoke it if I have to go to work or somewhere early.
I am having the same issue as many have already described here. Every morning, no matter where I am in the world, no matter what day of the week and no matter what I put in my body the night before - same result upon waking up. Stuffy nose which clears up with a few tissue blowing sessions, but then returns and recurs throughout the morning for a few hours and finally goes away.
I feel like I have tried every suggestion out there - allergy medications, sleeping with my head elevated, increasing water intake, cutting back on processed foods, dairy, alcohol, humidifiers, saline rinses. While these have mitigated the symptoms only slightly, they still do not get at the underlying root of this huge issue.
I have also been to a GI, ENT and allergist to diagnose this issue, and all of them have simply pointed back to one another as if nothing was wrong from any of their perspectives.
All I want to do is wake up in the morning and breathe easily, and not have to worry about any of this anymore. I think I will try the Nexium or the Prilosec, but I think it's ridiculous that we are in 2017, this seems to be a recurring issue for many, and no medical professional can accurately diagnose this issue.
