Clearly you have no idea how long an adoption waiting list is. besides for that - the amount of money you have to spend just to get the child, house inspections, aprovals and the fear of his/her mother standing in front of your door 8-9 years from then. And no offence, 90% addoptions are black children. I am white and wish to have a white child too.

Hi :) I'm 26 yrs old and have had random menstruals. I had my first at age 18(one time only) then from 18-23 I didn't have one at all. Started bc at age of 24 and with that had periods but never on my own. The gyn said absolutely nothing is wrong with uterus, cervix or ovaries that having kids would be hard but not impossible. I have been on provera 6mos last year, gave up after the 6mos because my gyn said after that I should more than likely have a cycle...never did. I tried clomid but for insurance reasons didnt get to be tested so I dont know if it would of helped me to concieve or not. People take for granted the ability to get pregnant. Majority of the posts I read on here are women who eagerly want to give birth and would probably be awesome mothers but for some odd reason we're not given the chance. If anyone has any insight as to why we're not able to have menstruals kindly post some great news! Good luck and God bless!

I have three kids and do not get my period. I'm 29yrs old now, when I was a virgin I may have saw it a handful of times but even then it required panty liners and would last about 2-3 days and I would maybe see it 1-3 times a year. When I became sexually active I started to see even less. After the birth of my first two I bleed so much after labor I was almost at a point of a blood transfusion. Then I would bleed heavily for about two weeks. After seeing three weeks total of blood I would go on celebrating my children's birthdays without EVER seeing my period again. I say all this bcuz I would hate for all of you to think having children is impossible. Of course every person is different. But simply telling your doctors may not be enough. Most will just have conversations about it or tell you facts they have either studied or read about. Don't dare listen to a doctor who has yet to refer you to taking test or see specialists. I still I'm in search of my question.... What long term damage may this cause? (not having my period) How will this affect my menopause in the future?

Hi I am 27 I was diagnosed as a lil girl with Turner syndrome and I too am small and never gotten my period maybe you should look into Turner syndrome get the test done because if you do not get routine checkups and let this go you will have complications because with Turner syndrome comes more health problems then just being infertile

Also 23 and never one had a period. Very scary. Doctors told me everything was normal. They checked to make sure I have ovaries and a uterus. I do and nothing was said about it being too small. My friends tell me I'm lucky, however, that is not the case. I want kids one day and feat it'll never happen. ....
