Hi,
I'm still numb after 10 months...and tight of course. Is anyone still tight and numb? I'm afraid I might have nerve damage...

I have a me too story. I had a chin lift over 1 year and 3 months ago. Still having noose neck and numbness. PS keeps saying everyone heals differently. I say BS. I plan to get another PS opinion soon. Have you had any resolve yet?
My top lip was very tight and I could not smile. Week 4 now and problem went away
I am going on 21/2 years of facelift, neck lift and lipo. I realized something was seriously wrong when the Dr. basically dumped me after 5 months, telling me my severe tightness and pain behind and in front of my ears as well as the pulling under my neck had nothing to do with the surgery. After much research and many doctors, I ended up getting PRP treatments. They are the first thing that has truly made a difference and has broken through several adhesions. The place I go to is called Stem Cell Arts in Maryland, but look for something in your area and research this treatment. I want to help other people because I was in your shoes.
did it ever get better I am in the exact same position of you - huge lumps hanging down - I look awful - I am so upet
Hi. I'm in my 5th week post facelift. My neck is tight. I also have a little lump under my chin. My ps also told me this will pass and to keep massaging. It's hard to be patient and move forward. Hang in there. It will get better. My girlfriend d had her neck done. It took her a few months to have normal movement back.
Hi

No, not "your friend" YOU are the one bad-mouthing this doctor so stop being a pathetic coward and pretending to post as "your friend" and stop hijacking other people's threads since you were banned from SH and your defaming threads about this doctor were all DELETED.
Did you notice the date on that message?
I don't know who wrote that but I know which threads and messages I got deleted.
I was not banned. I hope you are. You are a one big plastic surgery bully.
You are the one hijacking threads and going after anyone who tells the truth about that particular plastic surgeon.
Show us your face. Do you look normal or a victim of a bad plastic surgery?
Have you seen a blog about what your beloved Marten caused with his wrongful actions?
Pretty terrible looking pictures...
i had my neck lift 5 1/2 weeks ago and although i have some uncomfortableness I can't say pain. i do have a hard lumpy area under my chin but doc says he is not really sure why i'm taking longer to heal than normal and my skin is very sensitive, still reddened from he laser procedure after 5 plus weeks. Doc did inject steroid into my chin area yesterday and really hoping for positive results as this has me most worried. i still have bruising to my neck but if i need to go out i wear a turtleneck. i don't have work for 4 more weeks so it better be normal by then. Was your same problem the swelling in the chin/neck area? thank you for any assistance.
5 months and still numb and sore
Hello
I had a facelift just over a year ago. Almost half of my face has been covered in internal scar tissue, with one side being worse than the other. I received 12+ sessions of ultrasound therapy to no effect. I have massaged my face at length for the last year. The last appointment that I went to see the surgeon who performed the procedure, (a couple of months ago), he mentioned that I had had a blood clot, which he didn't mention at 2 weeks post operative, even though I saw him twice in this period because I had shooting pains in that side of my face and at that time he didn't even examine my face. At this last appointment he also advised me to stop massaging my face, advice that I did not take as this seemed to be the only thing that was helping to soften the scar tissue.
One side of my face is now wider than the other, my jowls are fatter as a result of the scar tissue my face is now a different shape ie more square than it was post surgery, and I still have numbness and tightness around my face and under my chin which feels like I have a tight belt wrapped around my face. I feel that the tightness is pulling at the skin under my eyes as when I am outside and it is cold the scar tissue under my skin tightens and I can feel it pulling at my eyes and the start to water. Any concerns that I have highlighted with him I feel are not being taken seriously.
I also asked whether the scar tissue could affect the pigmentation, as the blood and lymph would not flow naturally and my skin is now redder than it was before and was informed by him that this would not affect my pigmentation. I however have read to the contrary.
I was also informed on one occasion that the scar tissue would dissolve into my lymph glands and on another occasion that scar tissue does not go away. My scar tissue is now softening, as a result of me massaging my face every day since the procedure, over a year ago, but not dissolving, hence the changing shape of my face.
I am not sure what the future holds in terms of this procedure and what will result aesthetically.
I just read your post and it sounds like what I'm dealing with. I hurt so bad I cant stand it. I had a neck lift and had my cheeks filled with my own fat 1 year ago. When I lay down on my back the pressure starts to build around my entire face neck and ears. My cheeks burn like on fire and I can't get any relief. I haven't told anyone because I'm embraced I got this done in the first place.
