I hear you. I am seven months post neck lift with lipo and still in near constant misery. Choking feeling is constant and often unbearable. Burning comes and goes. Was not at all prepared that this could happen. Tried massage, acupuncture, steroid injection-nothing helps. Pain management dr. Has tried various meds on me and I feel no better (but I am poorer). I wish I never did this. How are you now.?

Hi, I just had this procedure 6 days ago with some lipo under chin in addition to the precision tx. Having same problems, can't depress my lower lip ( have to pull it down to eat) can't smile, numb, swollen. Wondering if these problems resolved for you?

Hi, I feel desperately sorry for those of you who are suffering, your stories are truely awful. i have come to the conclusion that plastic surgeons are like GP,s (your local doctors) in that they are generally ok at all sorts of operations but do not specialise in any one particular field. If you are thinking about having any kind of surgery I would urge you to seek a surgeon who is specifically known for being really good at that particular procedure. I had a neck lift 4 weeks ago by a surgeon who has an outstanding reputation for being particularly excellent at necks. It took me a lot of research to find him and I had to wait three months just to get an initial appointment with him but wow was it worth it! He told me exactly what to expect and what risks were involved and discussed scar tissue at great length. He is a perfectionist and told me to expect my op to go on for as long as it takes for him to get it right. I was in theater for 5 hours!!!!!!! I had my op in the morning and at 11pm that evening could hear a strange noise in my Right ear. I told the nurse looking after me and within 40 mins the surgeon was at my bedside. He had come back in from home to sort it out. It was a collection of blood that he sorted immediately. Now 4 weeks on my neck looks amazing. My right ear is still very numb but I sleep on it regardless. There is a tightness in my neck but I know from have a tummy tuck a few years ago that this is compleatly normal and will go away with time. Neck lifts and face lifts are particularly tricky and specialised procedures, I can not stress enough the importance of finding a surgeon who specialises in that procedure rather than going with a "recommended good surgeon" . Surgeons should be viewed as "general" unless otherwise stated. Just because my surgeon did an amazing neck lift does not mean that he would do an amazing tummy tuck. Choose your surgeon wisely and even more wisely if you have to have corrective surgery. I wish you all the very best and prey that you will all find a solution to your problems.
Hi I had same problem after precision tx. 3 weeks out and no improvement yet. Did your paralysis go away???
I have the same problems following Precision TX.I am still numb in my chin and neck and talking when the lisp as my lower lip is not moving at all.have you recovered yet? I am three weeks post and starting to seriously worry.
How are you doing now?
Please update your surgical experience. I had same corset procedure done 3 weeks ago and I'm very unhappy with lumpy and wrinkly neck appearance, side view is ok. Had no idea corset would be done. Expected to see a nice tight neck post-operative and was very disappointed when I saw results! Have done much crying today at 3 week.
Yes, my surgery was done almost a year and a half ago and I am still experiencing the noose effect. It is worse when effected by stress, heat, tiredness, whatever. My doctor doesn't have any answers. I was hopeful that it would go away with time, but my hope has now faded, causing additional stress and tightness. Have you had any improvement?
Seems like it's been over one year since your corset neck lift. I was wondering how you're doing with the lumpiness, tightness, and pain. Has anything helped?
you are more polite than I! I was quite annoyed reading the little 'lecture' also. It is good that Guest had a good outcome, but the attitude towards other's experiences was not helpful, to say the least.
Hi, I am 6 weeks post op with the same problem. My ps opened up the incision and applied suction/pressure but said there was nothing in there. I have emailed her more pics today as she said that by week 6 all would be good!! Did the steroids work and has the lump improved. Thanks
Yes, still have "noose neck" after 1 1/2 years. Losing hope that it will ever change, anyone have some encouraging words?
I had surgery five years ago and still have a lopsided smile. One side goes up more than the other. I also have tinnitus which the PS said would be go away. It hasn't. Sorry I can't be more encouraging to you, but this is reality. After five years, I would say my condition is permanent and I regret doing it.
