I am so happy I am not the only one. I sometimes get them on my face like in between my eyebrows or on my forehead but this one on my upper thigh wouldn't go away. My mom told me it was because of the chafing of my legs. I searched for a solution and I found one. 100% Petroleum Jelly. This stuff was effective and is made for issues like this. I remember my mom using it for everything: rashes on the skin from Kleenex, diper rashes, etc. It definitely works, maybe not instantly but it helps. On the label it had a Walgreens label on it so I believe you can buy it there.

You Might Want To Check Into Pilonidal cysts. I am having surgery to hopefully remove one from my upper gluteal cleft. It is anot access that grows on the buttocks and bleeds occasionally through small holes that form at the top of you butt crack. When that thing gets filled, oh the pain. Unfortunately again they will continue to come back, but the surgery may stop it for me.

My doctor also said remove sugar from your diet and take a good probiotics everyday and they went away. They get worse if you touch them and scar. No sugar, no dumps. My doctor said it's yeast overgrowth. I cut out sugar of all kinds and gone.

I'm not a professional, but I have the same thing and my doctor told me it's foliculitus. The hair follicles get infected and cause the boil like bumps around the area. I have scarring on my inner thighs, as well as my buttock. The only way to minimize them is to wear loose fitting clothes, use anti-bacterial soaps, and keep dry down there. They can give small doses of anti-biotics you take everyday, but I wasn't having that. Weight does play a part, but I had them when I was 12 and not over weight. Good Luck!

How did you pop it

I've had this problem for years, too! I've been scouring the Internet trying to find a name or solution, but have yet to find an answer. I get them on my inner thighs and a few days ago I got one on my hip that was really deep compared to other ones I've had in the past several years.

I've also had the blood thing that you've experienced. When the site pops, the blood streams out, like a leaking waterballoon or an open fire hydrant. It's scary at first, cause blood goes everywhere, but in all honesty, those are my favorite to pop. For me, thosee don't get nearly as painful as the others, so I don't mind squeezing them.

If you find any answers, let me know! Best of luck!

someone in this thread suggested this: Hidradenitis suppurativa. since you are young I would show it to a doctor. popping them can cause infection. first talk to the doctor about it before showing him/her. please go.

I have the same problem. Always been a big guy and have wondered if because of my thighs rubbing plus sweat added to the problem. Have never had to worry about it being a problem. From everything else that I read about it as well could just be a combination of those thing plus clothes rubbing up in the wrong spot. Wish they would just go away.

As I was told....In grown hair that turned into an abscess. My brothers girlfriend got one and removal is painful. She has a big scar from it. If not removed it can tunnel to other areas. Get it taken out asap.

Yes I get them a few times a year for last 5 -10 years , usually during summer months . They came from sweat glands , ingrown hairs from what doctor told me . Do not pop them yourself , use a home remedy like onions, turmeric, garlic, honey , apple cider vinegar, followed by warm compress to make them come to a head on their own . sometimes I mix a few of the ingredients above , leave it on for 20-30 min . Be sure to shower every night , even if I miss a day where I feel I wasn't too active , they will come right away , the inner thighs are like your arm pits , they get dirty everyday regardless of how active or not you are . Hope this helps .

Sounds just like what I get. My best solution is to pop it and take a saturated cotton ball with peroxide and rub it real hard. 3 times a day. In a few days it is over. But keep pus squeezed out and keep bandaid over in between in effort between to keep
Germs out of open area. Works.

I am in my 50s now and this has been a a problem with me for the past 10 years. I have noticed that certain foods can exacerbate the problem. Regular chicken (Not so bad with hormone free and organic), any deli meat, some cheeses, and possibly soy. I am going to try a spin down diet to see what may be causing it directly, but I do find that if I stay away from the listed foods, I do not have the problem as bad. I have also noticed that certain foods are more likely to cause the under arm cysts than the inner thigh. The one thing that no one seems to be linking this to is the lymphatic system which is located in clusters at these same areas.
