YES. I thought I was dying of cancer ... Lolz I legit just turnt 13 and I've been getting them for about 4 months
I would see a dermatologist. It sounds like it could be a cyst, which would explain why it won't go away. The sad or outer membrane of the cyst needs to be removed and it might need to be packed in order to get it to heal and not come back.
I just put drawing ointment on them with a plaster for a day or so and it goes away without having to pop them
I get these alot for years. The unusual thing is that I've had one for "healing" for about a month or so. Not sure if it's because it's in a really bad spot and the friction is keeping it from healing properly. It's a purple scar now but still so very sore it hurts to walk. So embarrassed to go to the Dr. Anyone else have one that doesn't want to heal?
I had one for nearly a year on my inner thigh, until two weeks ago it came back but flared up and 10x worse. This saturday morning it popped after warm compresses etc, now i literally cannot walk due to the SORE open wound rubbing. I have no idea how it will heal at this rate when its rubbed raw everyday followed by excrutiating pain
I found one on my left upper inner thigh. lancing did not help me too much. i sterilized a needle with rubbing alcohol and fire and pierced the area close to 4 times. the first hole was rather deep. 1/4" or so. it wasn't until i kept squeezing through the pain i popped it and it was like a light colored blood bubble just burst out. i was so scared and thought i pierced an artery. XD
I find using tea tree oil once a day after showering keeps them from forming. Dab some tea tree oil on a cotton pad and wipe inner thighs.
Baby powder works best
My wife has had these weird pus/blood-filled bumps on her inner thigh for years. She got diagnosed with hypothyroidism, and she decided to go an alternative diet to try and fix it. The diet didn't fix her thyroid, but serendipitously it made the bumps go away! She thinks it was white potatoes causing them, but not entirely sure. It was the Autoimmune Protocol (AIP) diet.
I get them too. I think they come about from my pants from pinching skin long enough to form a blood, blister type bruise, or from constant rubbing from running, excercising, etc. I always try to pop them, because the one that I didn't ended up leaving a hole in my inner thigh.
Wear boxer shorts
The best one I ever had...
About a year ago, as I was washing myself in the shower I felt a small bump on my crotch, just to the left of the base of my penis. It was tender to the touch so I assumed it was a pimple. I tried to pop it right then, but when I squeezed I noticed that it was very hard and dense, not soft and malleable like a normal pimple. It also increased in pain as I pinched it and tried to get it to burst.
But no luck.
So after the shower, I dried myself off and tried to part my pubic hair so that I could get a better look at it. It was the size of a large pea but I couldn't see a white or black head on it. I tried to squeeze again but nothing came out.
So I waited a day. The next morning I parted my pubic hair again and looked for a head. Still nothing, but it didn't stop me from trying to pop it one more time. No pus, just pain, so I left it alone. The next morning I could still feel it there, and this time to get a better look I first trimmed and then completely shaved the pubic hair on and around the pimple.
It was pretty fascinating. There was just a bump, but no discoloration and still no white or black head. I squeezed again and it still felt very hard, like it was filled with solid matter and not regular pus.
This continued for several days. I kept my pubic hair shaved close so I could closely monitor the bump. It never changed -- didn't get bigger or smaller or change color. Finally, almost a week after I first noticed it, standing nude in front of the mirror after I got out of the shower, I squeezed again. This time, the pimple (or boil or cystic acne or whatever it was) was ready to empty.
Two tiny drops of blood "jumped" from the blemish with enough force to fly in an arc and land on the mirror. I was pretty amazed by that but I quickly realized that the pimple still had plenty more inside of it. It was as large as it had ever been.
I was curious how much might come out, so I cupped my left hand about an inch below the pimple and began to squeeze with my right hand using my thumb and forefinger. I could actually *feel* the blood rushing between my fingers as it emptied from the pimple. A thick dollop of blood began to collect in my left palm. It appeared to be a darker than normal, and as it gathered in my palm the small pool of blood grew to really astonishing amount.
It was by far the most matter I've ever discharged from a single pimple.
I examined the source of the blood once more and noticed that it continued to flow, slowly moving down my inner thigh.
It was pretty amazing, but of course I had to laugh when I looked up at the mirror to see myself standing fully nude, slightly bow-legged, and cradling a significant collection of blood in my left palm as more blood dripped down my thigh.
I really tried to savor the moment. To think that so much blood had been waiting to escape from a single blemish, as well as how hard it felt while still packed inside, I knew that this was a zit that I would always remember.
As I lifted my left hand up toward my mouth I could feel the warmth of the blood in my palm. Then I carefully licked it as clean as I could.
Epilogue: I didn't see any residual scarring at the spot where the imbedded pimple had finally burst, and eventually my pubic hair grew back and covered the area. I know that the conventional wisdom tells us not to try to squeeze these, but the pimple never came back so I don't see why trying to pop these is a bad idea.

Have you tried wearing cycling shorts to avoid the irritation to your skin.
I have been getting these for the last year in the vajay jay area and buttocks, the pain is bad and the blood is almost black. I too was told it was staph infections but from my diabetes. I have one right now the size of a golf ball.
Wow! Glad to hear this is not uncommon, although the one I'm dealing with right now was so painful today! Right on the panty line but red all around it. No warning.....fine one day and limping and gritting my teeth every time I sat down at work today! Soaked in an Epsom salt bath and hot compressed it until it broke on its own..........nasty smelling blood. Have it bandaged as best you can in that spot. Hoping that helps it heal. Really embarrassing spot to have a doctor in the ER looking!
