It's nice to see I'm not the only one with this sort of thing. I get them regulary around groin area and my waist line. The most I ever had was 5 at once. If I don't drain them they can get so bad I can't walk. Once I learnt to drain them before they got that bad keep them covered to prevent further infection while they heal, they clear up rather quickly in about 3 - 4 days. Proberly not the best way to deal with them but eh. I like being able to walk.

I've been getting these for the past year. Always a difference type of bump it seems and always inbetween my thighs. I reckon I get them because I'm a large dude and my thighs rub. I usually just drain them myself and they'll go away for a while and come back. A few times they have been just pimples where I've gotten the regular white pus to drain out and that was fine. Once I actually had cystic acne. That took months of me squeezing it, but if finally came to a head and I was able to pull and cut it out of my thigh. All the other times have been as described where it's just a bump and if you squeeze them a hell of a lot of blood comes out. No idea what they are, but they seem pretty harmless.

Bartholin glands cysts can grow to the size of a golf ball. They can be lanced, but like most cysts, if you don't remove all the cyst, it can and usually will come back. It's due to a blockage in the bartholin gland and causes things to back up and become stagnate. This glad helps to provide lubrication for the vagina and of course could be subject to some sort of bacterium as this is normal in the vagina and especially for women whom are sexually active. Warm baths will help to reduce the consistency of the cyst and you can sometimes squeeze it out, but this is not unlike any other cyst material ( nasty in smell and color, and needs to be flushed from the vagina lightly to remove so as not cause any other issues. Best guess is a moderately warm bath ( not shower) and stay there for 30-40 minutes before attempting this. OR go see the gyno who will numb you with some lidocane and either squeeze or lance it depending on the size. Outpatient procedure for lancing.

I've had hard marble sized bumps under my skin on my arm pits and inner thighs for a LONG time. I went to the clinic to check on one that was extra painful and the doctor told me that it's most likely Hidradenitis. Hidrodenitis is when your pores don't properly release sweat in places that rub together, (arm pits, inner thighs, etc). The sweat gets trapped under the skin and creates a cyst. The cyst is firm and sometimes painful but, usually come and go. Pretty disgusting that it's caused by sweat build-ups but, that's what we're cursed with. I hope I was able to help anyone also struggling with these, I tend to get less of them when eating healthier and there are products like tea tree oil and Epsom salts for in the bath. All the best fellow sufferers!

I read majority...2 different things.
First the red bloody one...my doctor told me it was a bleeding cyst. It is a small break in a vein due to friction. It forms a bleed just under the skin and forms into a bump. Sort of like a blood blister. Sometimes they absorb back into the body other times they stay and need to be released. He said they are harmless mostly annoying but can become severe where the inside of the hole should be cauterized to seal the small open bleed.
Unfortunately due to the possibility of it being a boil...staph infection in the hair follicles you should have a doctor look at it. Most of the time boils are annoying and painful...these are the ones with the puss and discolouration. It should drain on its own and they last for a few weeks at a time. You may require more than just a warm cloth if it does not go away on its own. If they are bothersome or recurring dont be afraid to see a doctor...they are there to help.
Hope this helps...oh almost forgot i have had both kinds. My doctor fixed the cysts on the inner thigh they have not returned..as for the boils (belly, butt, under boobs and armpits) i now take antibiotics.

when you pop them do they heal?

I'm a big guy, and I get these periodically as well, they are blood blisters. The reason they're hard to pop is that it's sealed under the skin, and popping it requires lancing (poking a hole in it)
