I have one on my inner thigh and was told it was a cyst.
I noticed a few weeks ago that there was a huge lump the size of a quarter under my Skin on my inner thigh .i left it alone at first bur it got so sore. So i tried to pop it. That didn't work. It just hurt like hell. I decided to leave it alone. But after a few weeks. I again couldnt stand the pain. I grabbed some tweezers and i poked it till it opened thinking it was a huge black head. dark red blood streamed from it. I kept squeezing but the blood d didnt stop. I had to gold toilet paper to it until it did. I can still see the blood under my skin and it hurts. How do i get rid of it?
I used to get them on mine too when i was your age. Try washing down there with cetaphil, just reg bar soap, or even the clearish nuetrogena bar. I am 36 now and they stopped on my labia in my late teens, so there is hope!
It's called Hidradenitis Suppurativa
Aspartame can trigger Hidradenitis Suppurativa which is what it sounds like almost everyone here has. I have dealt with it for over 20 years. Do some research on it and I can almost guarantee it is the issue for most people here.
Acne inversa , it could be.
Yeah here! I think same for me too, man. Not sure what it is. I discovered it last night, but this morning I poked it with a splinter probe and it just bled dark red blood. I put a bandaid over it and had another look this afternoon and she's gone down a bit, maybe that's all it is? My fatty thighs rubbing together a scheme!
How long does it last - the two i have now are not going away they keep filling up.
Hi, yes I have an answer for you. It doesn't magically appear, actually, you can feel a pain starting to form, as you walk or continue to I should say, the pain is getting more apparent, so before u decide to keep walking, here's what I suggest. Hike up your pants so that your legs are touching the fabric and not eachother. After bathing, are you using any kind of oil based products? Since it is probably possible that u have oil prone skin, I suggest using corn starch to keep things dry, and light. Discontinue any lotions your applying, and remember, think steve irkle, when getting dressed to exercise.
By the way, if one happens to form, try this, you can do both ingredients together or just choose one.
(1:1part (s)) 1 part: regular Colgate mint tooth paste, 1 part: whipped egg white.
You'll want to put on some daisy dukes, or a skirt for this.
Mix the two together we, take a cold spoon or clean wet paint brush, saturate it in the mix and lightly apply to the infected area. Let dry before you get dressed. Leave it there, for as long as possible, it might be gone entirely when you check it later.

My son has one of those on the inner thigh. He won't show me because he's 16 and I'm Mom. He's never had them before. I know it's not MRSA because if it were like he would have A LOT of pain.. No puss just blood . My husband and his Mother get them. My Mother in-law says it's from friction. I told him if it gets worse or he sees any puss, to tell me right away! Any ideas on what this is exactly?
That sounds like a sebaceous cyst, and I've also had those on my outer labia, near it, also the crease where the butt and thighs meet, but it's always closer to the "lady" area. I've gotten these a up to a week before my period. For me it's hormonal, so I don't believe it's a staff infection. A sebaceous cyst simply happens when glands that produce skin oil, aka sebum, gets infected. It's more akin to a pimple.
If a lot of you ladies are getting this closer to your "lady area," on, around, and semi-related to the labia area (it can be on your butt too), there's a good chance it's a sebaceous cyst. I think there's a different name, but it's been awhile since I've seen that word -- it's an odd word. But it's almost identical, and happens to me about a week before my period. I also break out with one or two really bad pimples. The deeper set ones that take about a week to disappear.
Applying a damp hot compress definitely helps, but this can be very difficult to do, which is why many doctors suggest a hot bath. Heat always activates white blood cells, which is why you'll hear of doctors telling you to drink hot herbal teas when sick, or applying a hot washcloth on an infected area. Take a hot bath, soak for awhile if it's on your special lady area, or opt for hotter showers if you don't have time to soak in a tub.

If its getting bigger and more tender, and still draining pus like that you NEED to go to the doctor. i had the same thing on my back and it turned out to be a cyst. if its starting to feel hard towards the middle then it’s certainly a cyst and needs to be removed asap
