I have been suffering with the similar symptoms since last 1Yr.

Recently I decided to try Alternate Medicine route using Indian Ayurveda (after consulting the Ayervedic Practioner).

I took 'Kutajarishta' liquid (4 tspoon) with same amount of water twice a day after meal and  the earlier symptoms of Stomach noises seems to be slowly reducing.

P.S. it's start work after 3 days when you take them, and you still should avoid some food, which produces gas

This happened to me and the only thing that worked was a change in my diet..google/amazon "Breaking the Vicious Cycle" it's a diet that cuts out complex carbs...you still can have carbs but only simple carbs such as honey/fruits, raisins etc. It's not that difficult to do and I've even got into making my own yogurt which is fermented for 24 hours to digest all of the lactose (sugar) and supplies healthy bacteria to the gut. The concept is is that any undigested carbs/complex and difficult to break down, provide food for bad bacteria and upset the balance...It helped me and I'm posting this so hopefully it can help others and prevent them years of problems, taking medications or even worse...It's easy; you can do it!

Much Love

I have the same issue with the same symptoms as everyone else. I have almost tried everything mentioned in these forums with zero results.

Paragone - Didnt work

Candex - Didnt work, regulated somewhat though

Fibre diet - Didn't work, made things worse

Buscopan - Didn't work

Yogurt - Didn't work, some days it works and others it doesn't at all

Gluten diet - Was tested by a Dr. and turns out that I am not positive for a gluten allergy

Magnesium and Calcium pills - Do not work but I take them anyway

Random store probiotics - Colon Health, Culturelle, etc

I have tried a couple of other things but I can't remember what they were called.

Caracoal tablets are the only thing I haven't tried yet. Has anyone tried them? Caracoal tabs absorb the gases in your stomach, I'v read. That may do it because all of the noises I experience are caused by the junk in my gut and the gas/air moving by it.

Also, I'm getting a stomach biopsy done this week to give my Dr more insight to my problem.

eh........

1. we are all denying ourselves the food our bodies are calling for...we have formed that thin red line between anorexia and bulimia; we don't puke, we FULLY starve ourselves...we simply feed ourselves at varying schedules and just enough. Then we burn thru those nutrients and are suddenly hungry again but instead starve a bit....or;

2 we all smoke weed or used to smoke it daily and have "burned holes" in our body, effectively making our innards all loopy and shifty while it does normal bodily functions

Kit Kat - I can somewhat agree with you on your first option but I cannot agree with you on your second. I have recently gone through a series of upper GI testes/procredures with my Dr. We found that acid has eroded the lining of my stomach making it ultra sensitive to harsh foods, hense the irritable noises. I have only just begun my anti-acid medicine (Prilosec) so I have not seen any results yet. My Dr hopes to see results in me within a month. Acid promoting foods must be taken from my diet to allow my stomach to heal. Smoking weed is something I hardly ever do. Plus, is there any scientific evidence that supports your comment? Best of luck to all with this condition. It's annoying, it alters our lives, and at times makes us feel like we're crazy.

Yeah you're right about comment # 2.... No science to back it up, however, as my doctor mentioned to me when I mentioned to him that I smoked: "marujuana is definitly not in line with long term health goals." I believe its in the mix.

Yes the things my stomach says at my office job is starting to be heard by the one person who sits close to me and I hope I don't get the nickname "farty-pants"!!

Kit Kat - I haven't received a nickname that i am aware of however, to ease the imbrassment I make fun of myself before anyone else gets the chance. Monstergut is what I call it. Most people just think I'm hungry which is ok for them to believe and I go along with it. True is, I'm not hungry at all. Talking with others with the same issues does help so I am always open to reply to. I have a high profile position at work where I am always in social silent places and face embarrassment on a daily basis. I wife, kids, and personal life are too important to let this condition beat me. I will continue my search for a resolution.

Ahhh I am going through the same thing! My stomach makes these horrible loud sounds. I am constantly being asked if I am ok....it's embarrassing! What to do???

Not sure what the cure/solution may be. My doctor is trying different things. Right now were stopping the acid reflux issue I have to see if it makes a difference. The weird and strange thing is that any small amount of air or gas that is in my stomach makes loud noises. I'm not sure why my intestines are so vocal when the air passes through...? IBS? I was also tested for gluten allergy, results were negative.

I've been suffering from this for 2 years and a half already. Before that, my stomach only made noises on very stressful occasions, so it was "liveable". Now I often feel very sad and discouraged. I'm doubting if I'll ever get married, because I can't seem to find the courage to tell a boy about it, I'm afraid that he sees me as dirty and is disgusted by me because of the gas there's in my belly, and the fact that I need to go to the bathroom quite often. On the other hand, I don't want to live on my own all my life, I want a husband and children. Are there some of you who met their husband/wife after this problem started? If yes, do you have any advice to give me? Like how to start talking about it, and the reaction of your partner... I'd be mighty thankful to you.
For the moment, what's working best for me is activated carbon, but it is written that I can only take it before lunch and before dinner, so my problem is very present in the morning, which is when I don't know what medicine to take, so I just don't take anything.
I feel so happy for finding this forum, it helps me to see there are many other people in the world suffering from the same problem.
Thanks a lot,

ps: sorry for the english but I'm French ;)

I would seriously lookinto seeing a health psychologist. There is a big connection between the gut and the brain. You may benefit from cognitive behavioral therapy in how to control your 'guts." Chiropractic care may be another great tool. goodluck!
