Ummmmmm just so you know, cracking you're back does not cause back pain. Your answer is The most ignorant statement I ever read.

"Would that male amy difference?" OF COURSE! The marijuana has NOTHING to do with those symptoms. Are you that obtuse? Your diagnosis covers your symptoms!

You are suffering from a severe case of anxiety, I know you dont believe it but I had A LOT of the same symptoms, thought I was dieing, didnt believe the doctors, but here i am, i still smoke daily but I have come to terms with the fact that I was indeed suffering from severe bouts of anxiety and I can easily control and manage the symptoms of it. Anxiety can present as any symptom imagineable because your brain controls how your body experiences pain. I PROMISE you the sooner you accept it the sooner the symptoms will fade away.
I had the yellow vision, loss of balance, tachycardia, coldsweats, dissiness, extreme confusion, hearing loss... my hands and arms went numb, i could feel my blood move through my body like it was ice in my veins.
This happened multiple times.. followed by long periods of extreme fatigue. Its anxiety I swear to you anxiety can be a really serious thing and that was my biggest mistake thinking that it was a disorder of people who were just sort of over exaddurating their nervousness or were shy around people but it is a real thing that will seriously fck you up and make you feel like youre dieing.

Hope you feel better now as this is an old post, but its the truth ive been there and moved past it. Youll be alright.

I doubt that you'll see my response, but I have some potential insight for you. It sounds like you contracted Devil's Grip, also known as Bornholm's Disease, and consuming marijuana started exacerbating your already inflamed nerves. It's possible that the marijuana also primed your immune system in a way that made it hard to fight off the virus, allowing it to progress from muscle stiffness/spasms, to pleurodynia (rib pain, girdling muscles), to myocarditis (chest pain, tachycardia, palpitations), hepatitis (yellowing eyes and skin), and meningitis (the tunnel vision and neck pain). When Bornholm's gets bad, it causes every physical symptom you described. As far as the weird 'psychic' dreams and stuff, I would chalk that up to the process of cannabis withdrawals. Dreams get really intense and real after quitting weed for a couple weeks, but you can believe what you'd like. I would encourage you to learn about Devil's Grip, it's often misdiagnosed and hard to test for unless they screen for specific serum antibodies, or test fecal-matter at the height of infection... The sh*tty part (no pun intended) is there aren't any treatment options, other than relieving cardiac symptoms with beta-blockers and pain with NSAID's and other pain medications. I genuinely hope this helps!

well, I have been a daily pot smoker for decades. I have been in chronic pain for decades. every time I exercise , even lightly, all my small injuries feel like they have been amplified.  It has kept me indoors mostly and my quality of life has been very low.

Every time I walk or lightly exercise it feels like somebody hit me in the side with a baseball bat, I feel severe groin pain  and my lower back kills and I feel excruciating pain down my leg. any small injury I have had in my life seems to be amplified 5 or 10 times.

Things have gotten worse lately and I went to hospital and found out I have a 1 cm kidney stone stuck in my left uterer right at my bladder junction.  well, I was happy and sad, mostly happy thinking the kidney stone is the source of my pain.  2 procedures and 3 weeks later my urological system has healed but the chronic pain is still there.

I decide stop smoking pot 10 days ago to see what happens and you know what, the pain has lessened a great deal. It has not subsided and it is still a bit annoying, but I feel I am healing a little bit every day.   I am starting to exercise lightly with kettle bells and walking miles a day, in the past this would have landed me in the hospital.

I pray to god the healing continues and I can get back to an active life style. I see myself performing music and going to the gym and I need a little more relief to do so.  I am not crazy and I feel pot has caused widespread inflammation throughout my body, causing debilitating pain.

thanks for reading and any questions or comments are welcome here or off list.

Thank You and better health to all of you

I have a similar problem with the muscle and joint pain after I smoke, I am 55 years old, Occasional pot smoker. been smoking for about 30 years, When I would come home from work and work around my house or in my yard and take a few puffs it would relax me get me up and actually give me A boost of energy when I burn one, I don't smoke every day, sometimes not even every week, But now I find when I come in at the end of the day is sit down for a few minutes then go to get back up, find myself in excruciating pain, my legs my back my joints and my muscles. Don't give me wrong I work hard and all that stuff hurts a little anyway, but if I take a few puffs, I really pay for it later, where it would be used to reduce stress, and mellow me out at the end of the day it now makes me feel like I'm 90 years old and I can barely walk. I have laid off of it for about a month I feel much better. So I tried to take a few puffs and work around the yard and that night same thing felt like I was 90 years old, lots of pain. Don't know why. But I guess it's time to quit smoking. Not happy about that . Don't smoke cigarettes don't care to drink just a A few puffs now and then to make me relax. Anybody else having this problem?

I have exactly the same problem. I really don't want to give it up but it looks like I have to. I tried edibles, but that's the same thing.

I have smoked and eaten mj for over 11 years. I am 65 years old and male.
I have recently started experiencing thoracic back pain and muscle stiffness after smoking. Certain strains always give that result, other strains don't. Hard medical mj candies relieve said pain. I'm switching to those edibles to remedy this problem.

I have the same issue. Started smoking nightly to fall asleep about a year ago. Always in the past I'd just puff on the weekends. I'd be in pain for about two days after. But now? The pain never leaves. I'm quitting tonight for a few weeks to see if this is it. I've also read that longterm use can deplete your magnesium levels. I pray this works. The pain in my lower left back and hip suck SO much. I love walking and exercising so I really need this to work. Best wishes on your path to recovery.
