I was very young and innocent when I first married over 50 years ago. I had never seen, let alone touched, a grown woman's Lady Parts so I had no idea what a "normal" vulva looks like. We started trying sex a month or two before we married. We had to be very quiet because her parents were in the next room and would have taken a very dim view to find out what we were up to.

So I can say from my experience that sex is beautiful no matter what size your labia are, but for me it was even more beautiful with long labia. I would never tell my wife this. It's like penis size - bigger is better but it's just bad manners to comment when a man is smaller than you expected.
I saw on a TV documentary that there are African tribes where close women friends greet each other by tugging gently on each other's labia minora to make them longer. Long labia are highly prized in these tribes.
