A lot of what you guys are talking about sounds like MS Multiple Sclerosis, Heat can make symptoms temporary act up and common issues are tingling , pins and needles and vision problems, I just found out I have it after a MRI when my leg was not 100% numb but enough were i noticed. and they want me to take that B12 as well as my new meds, I hope this helps. Multiple sclerosis
I have the same feeling, the pins and needles come randomly and they travel from my back all over and I just want to rip my skin off it's been two days
I also developed these pins and needles about a year ago, it started in the feet (now and then), a few months later throughout legs, then arms. Last week I told my Dr. and he said simply that my body is NOT absorbing Vitamin B properly. I told him I take 2500 units by sublingual daily (I am a strict vegetarian, no dairy, no eggs and it got worse when my diet got strict), and he said to change it to a good quality liquid product. I bought it this week and hope that it will go away soon. However, I was also experiencing body aches and weird muscle or bone pain and it turns out I am VERY low in Vitamin D, both of these vitamins are VITAL for our nervous and bone/muscles. Please everyone get checked out and take B Complex in liquid form and a high quality Vitamin D supplement to see if these sensations disappear. Good luck!
i was a athlete when attending high school and i got back injury lifting a lot of weights. i recovery and do the usual stuff and kid would. i use to feel some tingle but not as much now. i am now 26 and i am feeling alot of tingling and burning feeling all over my body and its driving me crazy. and i am just recovering from a back injury i pick up playing basket ball, i could walk, sit and stand without feeling aot of pain in my lower back. but since therapy i am feeling much better less pain grading 3 out of 10. but the tingle and burning feeling is going crazy. what can be done.
I have this same feeling and comes and goes. Is it Fibromylgia. If so I think that sleep plays a part in it and you need to get a good rest.
I'm 20 and I've had this occurring every so often since I was about 15 or so. I first started to take note of it when in cross country and doing laps around the track. By 16 it would happen nearly every day I ran. Once when helping my dad cut apart branches from a tree I felt it so bad that I just curled up and wanted to cry. When I went to my dermatologist for an acne appointment I also asked about this, and he said it's likely from stress. It's lessened in occurrence since 17, and most notably happens now from temperature differences, like if I sit in a hot bath I'll get the feeling on my skin that hasn't made contact with the water yet if I've been in the water for a few minutes, and sometimes when I walk outside on a very sunny day.
I'd say some ways for it to develop are physical exertion, anxiety (I also had depression at from 15 to 16 and was on Prozac), and temperature changes.
Try breathing deep and slow to calm down your heartbeat and focus on being peaceful.
I dont have an answer but i do have to say i have the same thing! im 16 and i get this tingling all over by body including my face and even lips after playing soccer or running
Now that you mention medication this is what may be causing it for me also. My blood pressure medication was changed and i believe that this is when all this started. I went to the doctors and got Blood work Chest and lungs, and even a cat scan it all came back normal Thank god. I have that burning and tingling all over even at the tip of my fingers. I was told it was anxiety but i really believe we're prone to higher magnetic then other people and this is a really weird thing that we're all getting. I just wish it would go away. People Epsom Salt doe help a lot.. and nice therapeutic stockings.
Same here I will try B-12 also. This is hard feeling to explain and it is annoying. Thank You!
I have had the burning tingling numbness in my whole body for 10+ months with no relief whatsoever!! I have seen top Neuro Drs in MGH and got diagnosed the the IDK syndrome and the final Dr said in his "professional opinion" "it will go away, but here take this Neoro drug, it should help!!" well here I am 10+ months later and now going to see another team of Neuro Drs to start all over again!! I take B12 everyday faithfully and nothing!! So tired and fed up with what my body is going through!! I cant live with an IDK diagnosis!!!
My son is 6 years old and he came up to me one day and asked why it always felt like bees are stinging him. I took that as a stinging sensation in his body. He said it doesn't happen all the time, just every once in a while. I'm about to make a dr's appointment for him because it is concerning me, I don't think it is normal for him to be feeling that and he just recently complained about it. In the meantime does anyone have any thoughts to what might be causing this?? Any advice would be very helpful. Thanks a bunch!!
All of u should consider carcinoid syndrome, speak to ur primary care provider re a diagnosis. Lymes diseasse and pernicious anaemia
Hi there try getting tested for parasites that would be thruba stool test. Those pesty little thing cause a numerous of symptoms.
Hello, im 34 and have been experiencing those pin like sensations on vairous occasions. I have been to the doctor, everything came back clear. I began to keep a diary of foods that i eat and what triggers these feelings.
To cut a long story short I have narrowed it down to 2 things.. Coffee and MSG related foods. I first noticed the symptoms a while ago, but didnt expect the symptoms to last days after i consumed msg. Today was the first eureka moment i had and it came after a week of eating healthy and spoiled myself to some chinese food for lunch, withing the first few bites the tingling came back with a vengeance.
I can confidently say that msg plays a factor in my pins and needles. the issue i face is after i have consumed the food, even the slightest thought of anxiety or stress triggers the sensation again.
hope that help anyone there who has been driven nuts by the unknown and uncertainty that doctors provided.
cheers
