Hey andy,

i am not 100% sure of my solution. but 2 years ago, when i was suffering from this problem i started taking this diet on my grand mother's suggestion. i started drinking 1 spoon of clarified butter of a COW with half glass of milk in the morning dalily (before your breakfast)...The important thing is that i needed to start this diet 2-3 months just before the starting of winter season. it was really helpful. but when i stopped taking this diet, i again suffered with the same problem. so if you take this diet on regular basis then its really a boon.

also i know some names of AYURVEDIC medicines suggested by INDIAN AYURVEDIC doctor's. but i don't think that will be available in your area or country.

Hope this will help you!! BEST OF LUCK.

I have had the feeling of pins sticking me for about five years .I felt like  one of the dolls they use to stick.i found out it is triggered by my blood pressure being high.Reading these comments and suggestion i am going to let my doctor know that i would like to take vitamins B-12 to see if that helps. I'm hoping this works because this is about to drive me crazy!!!!

Hey guys, reading this thread really has alarmed me since few of us are getting answers and solutions.

I myself started getting an itching feeling which started last summer on my ankles. Now it has spread to being pins and needles on my back; upper and lower, as well as my arms, thighs and feet at times. The pain has worsened to where I twitch and flinch sometimes due to the unbearable itchiness and this pin and needle feeling.

It's not an allergic reaction to anything and it occurs all the time, sometimes I wake up from it as I sleep, when I work, at school (uni).

It's crazy... Don't know a solution yet but I have a feeling it might be something to do with anxiety as well since school has been stressing me out. However, this started in the summer time when I didn't have school so I am not sure...

hello all, i find a solution of this extraordinary problem. i was also suffering from the same since last 9-10 years. what i came to know about this is that it depends upon our body reactions. if our body is able to sweat in a complex or hard work conditions then this problem will not happen . on the other hand, if your skin is dry and you are a lazy person who does not want to move his body...then this problem will be regular one. in my case, i only face this problem in winter season only. in this current season, i used to run for 30 minutes daily and i did not face this problem of needle sticking even a single time. this was because, running exercise made my body to sweat in a complex / hard work condition. But, when i stopped running (one month ago) my body got dry (because there was no sweat coming out of my body) and i faced this problem again :(... now i again started running in the morning and i am fine. so, i conclude that running is a good solution of this problem until we find any permanent solution.... so keep running and be healthy. thanks

Hi there, I started getting this sensation when I was diagnosed with temporal lobe epilepsy, I notice the minute i pick up a viral infection or the flu then it happens. Also when Im stressed and when my temperature increases or decreases. This is also my warning sign before i get a seizure.

It’s been almost a year now that I have this weird feeling of pins and needles all over my body. I went to various docs but the cause is unknown yet. I was calm for about 15 days and thought that’s it won’t come back anymore but here it is backed for more than a month again. What I could do regarding this pins and needles all over my body for it makes me crazy.

It sounds like you could have erythromalalgia, or something of the likes. Magnesium helps because it blocks the calcium channels... whatever that means :P

Maybe some kind of nerve problem in your back?

Thanks for the info.I am 58yrs and I have experienced pins and needles all over the body for two months. I have used neurobine tabs and I feel temporal relief.Still they prick me intermintently.I did HIV test and it was negative. The are also attributed to large consumption of alcohol. In God's name I have given up all sorts of alcohol.Sixteen years ago I was diagonised with disc prolapse and bulging and compression of my spinal cord.Doctors have recommended eating of fruits which I am doing.I also had high cholestral which has been treated. If no improvement then I need to see the mentioned specialists.

your remarks are just what I'm feeling,i've been told that I have neuropathy, but after having a knee replacement almost 4 yrs ago,I'm wondering if I had some nerve damage due to the surgery.i had no problems before then, but now I can barely walk.I'm sick and tired of being told, even by my family, that it's due to my age 78.I know people a lot older than me who still dance, swim, and play tennis.
