I have the same issue. No cure with medicines because there are no evidence to figure this out the causes. I was diagnosed with gastritis and small gallstones. But consultants recommendations are contradictory to another. One Gastroenterologist and a surgeon said gallstones make the all issues that indigestion, gas, tenderness. But they doesn't guarantee that removal of gallbladder will resolve the issues. But radiologist told me that it is not to worry about gallstones because they are very small (2mm-3mm) in size. He finds that I have grade 1 fatty liver also. I have been a vegetarian for 10 years now. Two General Physicians told me that it is a issue with by bowel like IBS. Because they do not find any inflammation or irregular blood results. However Now I recently felt that carbohydrate foods make my bowel irritate and worsen.
The only way to improve this which I discovered is taking good foods which digestion improves.
1. Apples on an empty stomach
2. Tamarind juice one hour before dinner
3. Beetroots/Carrot salads or curry
4. Lemon or Lime Juice before meals
5. Add Green leafs
6. Yoghurt
7. lower carbohydrate foods / sugar intake
and aurwedic treatments for improve digestion and metabolism

I tested above things and have managed to lower the complications I have.
These things takes me immediate relief and permanent improvement expected in longer term

Note; I think Antacid and PPI/ Esomeprazole made my gut ruined

YES , I AM HAVING THAT NOW AND I HAVE HAD EVERY TEST KNOWN TO MAN. THEY HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO FIND ANYTHING AND I FEEL SICK LIKE I AM GETTING THE FLUE BUT NEVER DO. I GET SHARP PAINS THAT FEEL DEEP AND MY BACK HURST AND THE PAINS GO UP THROUGH MY SHOULDER BLADES. I AM SO DISGUSTED WITH ALL MY DOCTORS ...I COULD JUST SCREAM MEANWHILE I AM GETTING WORSE.

You just described how I feel everyday except mine is when I lay down on my stomach. Went through all the same tests you did, they did a radon test to. They were gonna take my gall out but since they said nothing was wrong with it I didn't let them. They all say it's connected to my fibromyalgia because ibs and acid reflux come with the disease as well. I'm a 24 yr old female.

did you do the gall stones cleanse? 8oz lemon juice and 8oz olive oil combined. stir and drink before bedtime. hold your nose while drinking and you won't taste as much of the nasty taste. may have to do it a few times or more, maybe a week apart?

I don't think it is IBS. Many of us on this blog do not have IBS. Just a thought.

I just turned 58 & have been feeling this common tightness below my rib cage in last few days.I read on another site that it can be related to stress & anxiety.Sounds right to me,who isn't feeling ''Stressed'' with all the negative events going on in our world? Learning to deal with our daily stress with exercise & eating healthier is a step in the right direction.Good luck to every one.
