In reply to the original post by needshelp, it sounds like Cystic Acne. It's like Comedic Acne, but instead of the pores being blocked by oils, dirt or makeup, it's generally found in young women with hormone imbalances and stress. I had it in my 20's and now again in my late 30's after having to take Progesterone for heavy, painful periods. You can Google Cystic Acne for some recommendations for treatments. Good luck!

Hi Folks, I suffer this problem too.. Red lumps, no head, eventually will produce white thin wormy hard 'puss' but will scar after that... It's horrid and persistent so I have read all your experiences with interest. I keep getting the same thing in the same place.. along my jawline. My beauty therapist tells me it's hormonal but I happened across a Chinese medicine face map recently.. Apparently if you have a problem on your face it can relate to an entirely different part of your body - So I realised that section of my face where I keep getting these spots is directly related to my colon - Which has been problematic for a number of years. Though I haven't yet solved the spot problem I have decided to take the emphasis off fixing my face (cos that's never worked!) and put it on resolving my IBS/digestive colon problems and ensuring I have enough nutrition. Do any of you also experience colon problems?

I have these hard red very small bumps around my nose and a few under my mouth. I don't know what they are ,but I used a steroid cream prescibed for an auto-immune issue. It worked. You should consult your doctor.

It is possibly a fluoride allergy from you water, and occurs from brushing your teeth. Too much fluoride in the water and toothpaste. Use a non fluoride toothpaste and bottled water. Or use the little dental to go tooth brushes.

You should have your thyroid tested

I have the same issue and i went to my regular doctor and he was very dismissive and just gave me a steroid cream. It works but its not for long term use but i am desperate so i have kepts using it (when i skip putting it on for one night it comes back). Its thinning my skin so it is easily scarring now. I finally made an appointment with a dermatologist and am going this month. But i really think i have pyoderma faciale....google it, it sounds like what you have. Best of luck!

I had the same problem for five months could not get an answer that work I went to my pharmacy and explain to her what was happening her response was when this happens most people are allergic to fluoride she pointed me to a toothpaste called Tom's with no fluoride I went home used it two days the bumps were completely gone and I've never had them again so I guess I'm allergic to fluoride. Sincerely girlrandi

Just tossing out an idea. I get these too. I get them on my back and around the hairline on my neck. I always wear my hair up.
They come theyre sore they build. Ive had them biopsied and the derm is miffed. But heres what i do know.
i am being treated for a rare condition called mast cell activation. Its like allergies on steroids. Things you wouldnt think could produce an allergic response do. My bra strap from the pressure. Preservatives in foods and make up. And probably in shampoo soap foundation etc etc. I note that im most likely to develope the bumps with different phases of my cycle. At one point it was so bad i had 4 of them for over 6 months and the left scars and stains from blood oxidation. Now that im on THREE allergy pills they come only occasionally lastung a few weeks. Worse with friction from the cloth or vibratio from the shower.
Look up MCAS. Mast cell activation syndrome. Maybe it applies to someone else too
