Strange throbbing/ pulsing in my thigh just above knee

I also sit at a comp for 8 hours a day. It must be the lack of activity.

I'm having the same problem, it happens randomly, but it's in the middle of my thigh above my knee, it's pretty alarming, does no one really know what's happening

I have a similar thing just above the knee slightly to the left it feels sensitive when I touch it aswell it's only when I sit down or lie down that this happens

that could be the cause of it for me cause I have really bad flat feet and i get this sometimes in my legs and once in my arm during exams

i have just had this and am 14, it was in my right thigh above the knee to the right and i could clearly see it pulsing fast up and down. it also felt slightly numb and i have had this before. any ideas on what exactly it is???

I currently have this problem its like something is squeezing thru there i fell on my knee and there now is a wound when i walk it hurts but that is because of the inconvenient place but this squeezing thingy is there for already 5 days just like the others just above the knee cap its annoying me and i'd like to know why it is doing that...

I've just started having it it's been two days on my right leg I do have type two diabetes but never felt this before I do have some weeknes in my leg just looking for some answers...

I had knee surgery about three years ago on my right knee for a torn meniscus and MCL, shortly before this injury occurred I was experiencing the exact same symptoms (phantom leg vibration, numbness, twitching/pulsing on my leg just above the knee) my orthopedic surgeon told me that these were early warning signs of the pending injury, had I listened to my body I could have avoided making it worse. My left knee recently started having the same condition so I've begun doing morning stretches, working it through a full range of motion at the gym and using a tens unit at night to relax it, since then the symptoms have started clearing up, it still comes and goes occasionally but it's not an everyday occurrence. With further strengthening and conditioning of my knee it should clear up completely.

hi this is asif here, I have the same problem, but the throbbing sensation is at the top of my knee cap. If i press on it, it stops. It is such an irregular occurance, seems to happen for no reason and stop just as suddenly. This has been going on for three days, has anybody had a diagnosis of what is causing these sensations? Doctor....Pl suggest...

God I have the same feeling just above my right knee on my inner thigh, I thought it was alive! Some kind of parasite! Now I can sleep haha....
