Strange throbbing/ pulsing in my thigh just above knee

I have an unusual heavy pulse in my left inner thigh just above my knee for the last couple of days. It isn't painful, but it is a little alarming. It goes in and out irregularly. It's like a quick little quiver, in rythym with my pulse. What is this, and should I do something!?!

it also happens to me, it just did it again, no pain, no nothing, just weird twitching
I have had this off and on for years. For me it last as max of ten minutes at a time. It was going just now, which prompted me to search the web. Hence finding this site but it has already stopped. The last time it happened was months ago. It is as has been said elsewhere nothing to worry about and nothing to do with DVT. It seems you just have to wait it out until it stops. I am convinced it has someting to do with sitting with your legas curled under you or in my case sitting at my desk with my legs curled back under my chair.
I as well Have this happening. Exactly. cannot find Answer.
I have had this for about 2 months now in my inner thigh above my knee. It pulsates and you can clearly see it. No pain or weakness but worrisome. Any one find out anything?
So I wanted to reply since no one seems to follow up after they no longer have this happen. I posted I had this throb in the same spot for 2 months. Some one mentioned to me this seemed like a lack of potassium and or calcium. I had already started taking potassium so I bought calcium and it's only been a few days and it nearly gone. The very slight pulling happens maybe one or twice a day now. Hope this helps you too.
It shows that you leg is growing. I have It when I'm lying or sitting down. Never when I stand up. If I have it and then I stand up it stops. This shows that your leg is growing because it never happens when I'm stood up.
I have this same thing supplements not helping. Anyone have any idea it's like a heart beating in the thigh. For months no pain - same place sometimes it feels like jello under my skin and sometimes its rapid and sometimes slow pulse.
Certainly see your physician. Pain when lying down could be a symptom of arterial impairment.
I've been experiencing this for around 11 days now. I need to trust the Lord to heal it. It has been on my mind a lot. Up from knee inside leg random locations in the same spot (if that makes any sense.) Its like an area of my inner thigh above knee keeps jumping or sometimes pulsing. It's not the same feeling all the time. Speeds up slows down or jerks almost. If I stand up it either goes away or I can't feel it. Laying down flat seems to help to. I thought it was gone a couple times because it stopped for like 8 hours. It's weird after I sit down it usually starts up again in a couple minutes. I'm not sure it's always in same exact spot but definitely on the same part of leg.
I've had this for over 2 months now. I have no clue what's going on. hopefully it will go away .no pain or anything. I would love to hear from someone on what maybe this could be. supplements haven't helped.
It feels like something is moving around above my need.van someone tell me what that is.
I've had the same feeling right above my good knee for the past 2 days. Random throb bing. I just thought it was because I might have been compensating on the good knee too much since I'm still recovering from my ACL reconstruction surg. on the other knee. I hope it's nothing crazy like things I've read here lol
Mine is a flutter on inner right thigh I timed it and it's every 30 seconds or so it's been days now. I have vericose veins but I don't know what this is
I couldn't agree more it's very annoying and though not painful is very scary
I have that same throbbing sometimes intense pain above the knee 4" more so in the thigh muscle. I've been working out and it seems to help doing thigh stretches a log with some spinal decompression stretches in case you have a pinched nerve (look up yoga moves for both) breathe & relax your mind and let it subside...
