You can't smoke roxies? Wrong. You can smoke oxycodone in pill form, trust me. All you need is a piece of tin foil, a lighter, and a straw.

Hopefully you've learned not to talk out of turn when it comes to these very serious matters. To tell this parent, no your kid can't be smoking the pill because it's not possible. It's very possible and becoming more and more popular. Beleive me, I unfourtanatly know. I'm clean now and happy, but with inaccurate information, these people can't get the right help for their loved ones. MK

Don't guess. Roxys are opiates. Pure government made heroin. Just as strong depending as much as you do and much cleaner. The kick off them is even harder than heroin to some people. Let's just say i hypothetically used to have a habit. Have him get ahold of the habit j quit before he goes to heroin. Good luck parent..

Roxies are oxycodone basically perkocet. An opoid pain medication. It is nothing in relation to "molly" which is MDMA. The best way to help your son would be with suboxone therapy under a physicians care, in patient rehab followed by moving him away from everyone he hangs out with or even better two years in a military branch. It will be painful for your son during detox and is best monitored by a physician

I completely agree. Choose a MAT clinic! Your son has an illness now recognized by the DSM-5. Opiate Use Disorder. His brain chemicals are not right, like with any mental illness. Abstinence, 12 steps and locking him up only makes them go right back to it as soon as they are triggered again on the outside. It's a physical craving that is just intolerable, and it isn't about being weak or having a low character or wanting to hurt your loved ones. Most addicts feel so much shame. Only 2 percent of rehabs work. But MAT programs involving counseling, group and medication (suboxone or methadone.) have an 80 percent success rate. And even if people do relapse, they tend to have longer periods of sobriety and stability than rehab programs. People on psych meds have relapses with their symptoms also, sometimes. We need to change the way we view addiction and stop all the stigma and shame. I hope your son is doing better today. I'm on Suboxone and have been sober for 3 years. My life is beautiful today. To everyone struggling with OUD, your life is worth saving and you aren't hopeless! If I could do it, anyone can! You can have your life back, your family back, your kids back. Don't let the world make you feel like you're some piece of sh*t junkie better off dead. Don't let them tell you medication is a crutch. Or switching addictions. If that were the case, people wouldn't be getting their lives back, their kids back from the courts, going back to school, getting jobs, FUNCTIONING at high levels in society. On drugs we lose, on MAT we only gain. That's the difference. So haters be damned. If this gives someone hope, please just look into it. Peace and love.
