I kept it a bay also with oatmeal for breakfast for 4 month.....very interesting!!!
@deejay - sounds like your gallbladder, I would definitely get it checked.
I get the same exact feelings and there are years in between my episodes. The feelings I get are terrible and it feels like low blood pressure when I have the episodes.
I have the same things happening to me. Last night was the worst one that I’ve ever had. I actually did throw up this time. Have you figured yours out yet?
This sounds JUST as I wrote it myself. I am literally in the process of asking my allergist and GI doctors to both sign me up for an observed hospital stay just so they can have someone besides my family “witness” how it all goes down after eating a fraction of an allergen. Just uncertain which allergen 6 of the top 8 is causing this.
Hi, I just had another one of these episodes last night. Always wake after a few hours of sleep with the pain...makes me get up and pace...the intense sweating begins and I need to go to the toilet/puke...eventually I do both lots and pain in between. It lasts about an hour or so.
1. Over ten years ended up being taken by ambulance 3 times and they couldnt find the cause. In 3 different countries!
2. Kept being put on diff. conceptives as seemed to happen with a period/blood. The implant, injections, pills. Made me put on stones and feel moody.
3. After years of looking, found a fibroid...when having consultations I insisted on keyhole as even though there was a fibroid, my back pains had been getting worse over the prev. 10 months. We found endometriosis. I had surgery oct of last year. Removals from bowel, both sides of pelvic area etc.
4. Had a few months of bad periods since but I use the meds I am told to and mostly get through work.
However, I have had 2 epidoses of this now even since my op for endo.
- Why does it always happen 3/4 hours after sleeping?
It seems one commenter here may be right - it could be something else causing my period to come/me to bleed? I realise it was happening at a diff time of the month than my usual period. The bleeding is not like a normal period, it comes in "blasts" is the only way I can explain it. Doctors assume it is the endo/fibroid causing more than one period a month.
I am currently doing what some people mention here with examining my diet. I have cut out caffiene fully and almost all dairy. I have laxative here now and will see if it quickly frees me of the pain since it began wed. night.
Just joined this to follow peoples journeys...after so many doctors, tests, hospitals I now just take strong painkillers and buscopan and hope an episode does not occur. It made me very mentally unwell at some points as it makes life so difficult to continue. It would be great to find a solution and help others not have 25 years of this journey too ;-)

I replied to you Celeste as I really do not want to continue with this until your age and later. I am at the point where I am thinking of getting everything taken out and praying for menopause. However....it may not be this and Id love to know if you have any updates. I also replied to a male as I never thought of it being unrelated to our female organs! Maybe we could help those starting this journey from a lifetime of coping with it? ;-)
same exact feelings..."
I sympathize with the women who have these complaints. At the same time Im somewhat relieved I'm not alone"
Thank you - I am going to look up your suggestion and try it out. If it works I want to know who you are and shower you in gifts. Also spread the word!!

My episodes, same details as everyone else, seem to come when I eat ANYthing bovine - dairy and beef. When I cut out the dairy in February, the frequency of these episodes dropped dramatically and I've had only two or three since but I'm noticing that I consume beef within 24 hours prior to the episode. I have consumed beef and had less severe responses, but I'm starting to notice a rather consistent pattern between my diet and the episodes.
Might want to look into endometriosis
You have just described exactly my symptoms
Hello,
I am a 40yo woman , since childhood i have had random episodes that start with nausea, then extreme abdominal pain , profuse sweating and dizziness and lots of diarrhea! Now i just brace myself for the ride and go into a trance like state until its over! When i was a child i would just lay on my grandmothers bathroom floor until the experience was over and she began giving me a couple tblspoons of flour mixed in a half glass of water that really helped. I had an episode a couple years ago where i woke up on the bathroom floor covered in feces and blood. Most recently i had an attack but this time it took a few days to recover which leads me to believe this isnt minor and will eventually be my demise. My heart goes out to each of you posting on this thread. God Bless you all!!
