I journaled my recovery on YouTube. I am 5 years past the tummy tuck & I had the stomach muscles sewn back together. Avoid large meals&Sodium. We are similar to a gastric bypass. Workout too it helps. No Chinese food or Soy it will hurt bad & swell. So sorry it bloats &hurts but u can avoid it!
We swell when we eat high sodium foods or big meals. Eat small portions and avoid chips, Chinese food, gassy stuff. Tummy tucks painfully force you to change your way of eating to stay pain free. Stitching&Less internal space has something to do with it. Workout with cardio and dumbells daily and it helps. Coffee makes you go #2 relieving lots of pressure. Stick to fruit & veggies but really limit spinach because it's hard to digest and will bloat you.
