Anyone, get this same thing happen to them after consuming evn small amounts of vinegar..? So I am an avid eater of vinergar and cucumbers or vinegar and lettuce, shortly afterward I get a stuffy nose and congested head. I associated this together a few months ago but was in denial of me having an allergy to vinegar, I noticed it happened every time after eating italian dressing. I soon narrowed it down to the vinegar. Wow what a deal. I have gone 30+ years without knowing I have this small allergy to vinegar, anyone else have the same thing, and what are your symptoms..?

I have this identical problem! I have yet to meet anyone else, who's head sweats street ingesting vinegar. I'm bald and some salad dressings cause enough perspiration that it runs down the sides of my head. No clue why, but glad I'm no longer alone.
I literally just did the same thing and but my throat swelled up and it was very hard to breathe.
My issue with vinegar appears to be digestive.
I love the flavor and the tanginess.
However, 12-18 hours later all hell breaks loose in my gut. It is horrible! From gas like pains, that are not gas, to dagger sharp incision pains it destroys my gut from small to large intestine. It can be 12-24 hours of pain.
I have had a number of food sensitivities for decades and am only now finding out what the "bad" foods are for me.
Even now, when I think the coast is clear...some form of vinegar manages to sneak its way in and destroy a day or two of my life.
I literally spend a day or two in bed, horizontal. It seems the best way to weather the storm.
Same here. Vinegar makes my head and nose sweat....but nowhere else. In fact I sometimes touch my head after vinegar ingestion to find a film of water across my head which soaks my palm. Very odd indeed.... (I also get headache after red wine...and heartburn after orange juice lol)
Exactly the same here.... I also get headache after red wine
I'm 52 and never noticed it before this year but if I eat anything containing vinegar . my neck head and face break out in sweat and my eyes get really blurry. My lips get a tingling itchy feeling around them and so does my face. I haven't been to a Dr. About it yet bc I thought at first it was my imagination. Since it never happened that I noticed as a younger person. I hope I find the answer soon.
I'VE HAD TREMENDOUS ADVERSE REACTIONS TO EVEN SMALL AMTS. OF VINEGAR SINCE THE 70'S. I'VE ALWAYS BEEN PRETTY SUCCESSFUL JUST STAYING AWAY FROM IT. HOWEVER, NEW REGULATIONS TO PREVENT E-COLI, SALMONELLA, ETC. HAVE MANDATED ALL STANDARD AND ORGANIC, YES, ORGANIC, VEGGIES, CHICKEN, NUTS, RICE, ETC. ETC. TO BE RINSED IN "PERACETIC ACID" WHICH DEPENDING ON THE TYPE FOOD, HAS VINEGAR, CHLORINE, HYDROGEN PEROXIDE, AND OTHER INGREDIENTS. BUT ALMOST ALWAYS VINEGAR !
SO FOR ABOUT THREE YEARS I HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO EAT ANY KIND OF VEGGIES, I GROW SOME OF MY OWN, BUT I AM VERY FRUSTRATED. AT THE PRESENT, IF I SOAK THEM FOR 5 HOURS IN BAKING SODA AND ONLY USE LARGE VEGGIES THAT CAN BE PEELED, I CAN TOLERATE.
MY REACTIONS INCLUDE MIGRAINE, CENTRAL NERVOUS SYSTEM REACTION, BLOOD PRESSURE GOES DOWN, ABDOMINAL PAIN, AND JUST FEEL LIKE I HAVE A VERY BAD CASE OF THE FLU. TAKES 24 HOURS TO DISSIPATE. CAN ANYONE HELP ??? JANET

Yes, I get tingling, crawling, itching and redness reaction that affects my face, neck and upper chest when I consume anything with vinegar in it. I've been eating vinegar products all my life, but it wasn't until the last year that I figured out that the recurring rash and itching that I suddenly developed was the result of vinegar. As someone in the forum said, restaurants are frustrating because they don't always document the vinegar in food, so you have to ask. Doesn't help that I developed a wheat intolerance as well. Both severely limit my food choices!
I have the same problem but have not found a concrete answer
I experience the same reaction!
My throat feels raw and my face sweats
Use henna! It's natural Or love your grays!
When I have a vinegar containing food, my neck, jawline itch, my face is flushed and I get a crawling sensation that is very disturbing. As others have stated, it's even worse at night. I have rubbed and rubbed along my neckline so much it is now darkened.
