Hi. I notice while I'm in bed (laying in all positions) a wheezing or gurgling sound when I exhale. Anyone familiar with this?

I seem to have a similar issue , I'm 37, at night I notice I'm short of breath and weeding and some heart burn going on, I also notice I have a glen/ mucous building up in my throats and it's thick so I'm coughing from a tickle and clearing my throats often . Very thirsty few hours ago , now it's 12:58am so started at say 11:30pm The heart burn started just after I noticed the wheezing and flem building up , tickling in lower air passage. If anyone has insight please post something here !!!!!! This s**t is very annoying !!!!
Hi I have the symptoms, it started nearly 2 months ago with high fever for 3-4 days which has been diagnosed as viral flu by my gp,, Then dry cough for 4 weeks Then chest pain in away I could not even cough or sneez due to pain Then productive cough (coloured phlegm) . Then Sinusitis infection and fever again Then sinusitis gone but the chest pain, coughing and wheezing are present until now... I took 3 courses of antibiotics, each for 7 days but nothing change... Did an x-Ray but just passed ... I was all fit before the flu ... Not a smoker , no alcohol no cancer history in family 175cm, 72kg , exercising regularly 4 days per week 2h/day ... Other temporary conditions during these 2 months were: 1-Rash on my hands, feet , face and joints 2- diarrhoea I really don't know what is happening!!!??? Nor my Gp... But what helped me to reduce symptoms severity were: 1- anti histamine ( loratedine tablets 1/day). 2- hot water ( either alone or mixed with lemon , honey or milk) It is very disappointing when you have all these annoying pain and symptoms but your Gp can't see anything !!!! However, after deep search online , I suspect it to be an infection caused by a kind of parasites ( my opinion) .. The thing here is that nearly all the GPs agree that there are no parasites infections in developed countries!! And therefore they do not test for parasites ... Many people who have some similar symptoms as ours used what so called parasite cleansing courses and cured .. And it was very strange for me to read that some people who had asthma were cured after cleaned their parasites !!! So, did anyone do any type of parasite tests ? Or diagnosed with parasites and have these symptoms?? Hopefully we reach a a cure .. Thanks for all who reply
To both of you guys with the symptoms....ask your docs about GERD and Thyroid function. Hard to believe those conditions have not been considered with your symptoms.....
Take prednisone, steroid inhaler and amoxicillin /clavulanic and u will be ok sounds like a bad bronchial infection like had
A form of sleep apnea and asthma I've had the same thing for 16 yrs. its a form where you don't actually sleep but your brain kinda catnaps and wakes every 10 min
Seems like we have the exact same thing. I adopted a cat and since that day all my problems started, I was very healthy before. My asthma came back due to my cat allergies and I have been on Albuterol, Flonase, Loratadine and Qvar inhaler. Still get the wheezing and gurgling every day (morning and night) and my stomach is full of gas and bloated maybe due to all the respiratory issues. I was treated with antibiotics and prednisone but Nothing!
AMEN, GOD is Great
Mildly obese? Okay...
INSTANT RELIEF. I recently developed all the symptoms described in other posts. I spent nearly all of last Friday night coughing. When lying down my lungs were gurgling, popping and whistling. My ribs were sore from coughing and my throat was raw from retching up stomach acid. I tried all the home remedies I could find over the weekend -- honey and lemon, hot whisky toddy, mullein tea, ibuprofen, and antihistamine -- and managed to survive, sleeping in the spare room, till Tuesday morning (Monday was a bank holiday) but I was no better. First thing on Tuesday (this morning) I went to the pharmacy and bought a lidocaine mouth spray. When I next started coughing I took a couple of squirts to the back of my throat. The anaesthetic effect of the lidocaine stopped the urge to cough within 30 seconds. No more coughing meant no more sore ribs and no more retching. By the end of the day there was no more wheezing and I found that half a squirt was enough to stop that persistent tickle that forces you to cough. (The standard dose of the spray is four full squirts). My anxiety levels also dropped back to normal. I have a book out that includes some other radical, common sense cures that you won't find anywhere else, including a forgotten instant cure for ulcers that once won a Nobel Prize. The book is called "The Art of Science. Pure and Applied Genius." It could save your life. If you decide to try lidocaine or novocaine mouth spray and it works for you, please take the time to mention it on this thread so that other people going through it can also find relief.

Same symptoms high fever and chills fit s few days after having sex with an illegal alien hottie. 2 weeks later got a light cough wheezing in exhale. Been on symbacorp for 3 months. Doc said bronchitis . I say they don't have a clue.
Same. Sounds like little bubbles popping and gurgling. It is maddening
Waking up in the middle of the night: I have no wheezing when I exhale but after I exhale I have a 3-4 second eerie wheezing sound. What is that?
Have the docs do a sputum test for candida, a yeast or fungal infection of the lungs, I was diagnosed with this about 4 years ago, over use of antibiotics & steroids feed the have infection. I still have occasional flair ups if don't watch my diet, no sugar, no carbs... most docs don't know what it is!
