Hi. I notice while I'm in bed (laying in all positions) a wheezing or gurgling sound when I exhale. Anyone familiar with this?

Sounds like Vocal Chord Dysfunction. If you've had bronchitis or some type of respiratory infection, it can trigger VCD. Same symptoms as asthma but it can't be treated the same way. See a doctor who works with the vocal chords.
I am a 55-year-old Woman and I am also struggling with wheezing when I lay down and when I exhale. It sounds like a creaking door. At the end of January I got sick while traveling I developed a cough but I never ran a fever. I am very rarely ever sick so I tried over-the-counter medicine and vitamins but that did not work. Around Valentine's Day I went to the doctor because the cough was very deep and it gotten so bad I could not sleep at night without coughing. He gave me steroids, antibiotic and an inhaler. I felt better toward the end of all of this medication but when it ran out the cough came back. He called me on another round of the same medication. Now I'm still not feeling back to my self yet and I have this wheeze. I also have a pain under my right breast that I believe happen from all of the heavy coughing I'm not sure if I pulled something. Now I've noticed that my stomach and my feet are starting to swell and that's never happened to me before. I'm not sure if it's related or if it's something else. I've also noticed I've got acid reflux which I've never had before. I just want to feel good again and back to myself. Has anyone else had these other symptoms

Sorry, but this sounds like an ad for this product. There are a lot of colloidal silver claims out there, and taking silver can be a health risk. Read the research and the stories about the adverse effects before you go this route! (And, I can truthfully add that one of my siblings is an RN and another family member is a doctor, but this doesn't really mean anything.) There are still a lot of "snake oil" salesmen out there, hoping to make a big buck as much as the regular MD's.
Wow, I came down with this wheezing noise and dry cough about two months ago. Plus the itchy back too. At first I thought maybe it was winter snow mold and felt it would go away. It hasn't and my doctor also thinks it's allergry or asthma, I've never experienced anything like this before. I have had hay fever in the past and thought perhaps it was that. I also moved two years ago to the mountains with lots and lots of pine trees and now I'm wondering if perhaps I'm reacting to all the stuff blowing around now that spring is happening. I've had a chest x-ray last week and it must be alright, as I haven't heard back. Plus my doctor who I just admire and adore is also sending me to a lung specialist, so hopefully they will discover exactly what it is. Up until recently I've been in excellent health, and would like to continue life this way too.

I have almost exactly the same thing with the same treatments.
I'm 38, active and fit. It stopped when in hospital but is back 3 months later.
Did you ever work out what it is?
Same here but mine may be related to my blood pressure tans side effects.
I'm having same exhale symptoms as everyone is describing. I believe it is from eating dairy yesterday. And corn. I knew I was food allergic to these but never had these symptoms before. Treating with high doses of high potency garlic. Can't take antibiotics. .Avoiding dairy helps with asthma as far as my experience with friends and now myself. I look like the walking dead!
So has anyone seen a dr. About it??? I would like to know what it might be without having to go to one.. diagnosis seems please!!
If you imagine a balloon that is full of air and the neck of your alveoli (air sac) is the neck of the ballon. If the neck of the balloon is tight it makes a similar noise to your wheeze. It's the same mechanism. If the neck of the air sac is irritated....allergy, cold, recovering for illness etc. It will wheeze. If it's just just noise and a bit of mucus just have a cough and clear it, or give your lungs a chance to recover properly. If it's with shortness of breath , chest tightness or interfering with your breathing se your doctor.
Lately I been waking up with mucus and wheezing in the morning I do have sinus problem
That's probably symptoms of congestive heart failure, you should see a doctor immediately
I can't say about the wheezing alone, but night sweats, fever, and chest pain could be C. Gatti BUT you need to Have been to a tropical/sub-tropical place like Hawaii or Mexico, or Vancouver island within three last 18 months or less.
