Do your best to reduce the size before popping. It hurts less. Prid drawing salve at cvs apply for 3 days then pop if it doesn't burst on it's own.
This sounds like a condition known as Hidradenitis suppurativa.

I had this big red bump just like you guys are all describing. I went to squeeze it to pop it but it was too sensitive so i took a razor blade and sliced it and dark blood began dripping out but the bump wasnt going down. So then i squeezed it and blood just squirted out and it it began dripping feriously. It did this for about 2 minutes and i just dont know what caused this bump.
People needs to realize that this a staph infection that is hereditary in males an you have this for the rest of your life. Note you can solve it temporally but it will come back eventually when you atleast expect it .

I get them too but in my pubic area. Mine are ingrown hairs though. I do have a csection scar and that's where I normally get them. Not sure exactly what they are but it is pretty gross.
