Hello everybody. I've spent the last 24 years pretty much so high. I've never met a smoker, heavier than me. I spend over 200 dollars a week and all my time and energy devoted to getting my fixes in. I've stolen and lied in the process. Nothing sacred.

I've attempted to quit a few times in the past. I never make it beyond a couple days. I get really bad diarrhea, extremely agitated, and lose my appetite in the process.

While I'm smoking, I hate it and I hate myself. It's been the "last" time when I make a purchase pretty much so every time.

I have kids, one with special needs, they need me, but look how weak I am, always hiding in the bathroom, smoking. Cutting corners here and there so I can do the most important thing. Score and smoke.

I haven't smoked today. I feel depressed, and I get enraged, really fast.

Everyone in my house hates me, I'm an as****e but not as much as I hate myself. I'm glad I don't have a gUn because I'm a miserable piece of sh*t.

Selenium, Vit E & Vinpocetine megadose is the only thing keeping me awake. It's been 2 weeks for me & at first- my energy levels were so high that i became concerned. After a few days, i hit a wall and could barely stay awake at work. Now into week2- I'm falling asleep in my car and yawning thru gym sessions. I truly hope this passes bc i have never been sooooo fatigued.

I feel the same way everything I stop.. even during the day.. if I don't have my lunch time smoke, I'm sluggish for the afternoon.. it's the opposite of the stereotype I know.. but it is what it is

I quit smoking 2 months ago and was a heavy user for 13 years. Since quitting I have been feeling extremely tired, and having very vivid dreams. I can sleep at any given time if i stay put for a few minutes. Glad I saw this post as I know its not just me undergoing these symptoms

Take it easy when you stop smoking weed you feel tired because thc is still slowly being released into youre body. From what I have read this makes you feel tired sometimes. It sucks but you will start feeling better soon hang in there I know the feeling!

18 years nocturnal smoker and surf three times a week - I kept fit and active. i would stay up awake until midnight and had no issues getting up daily at 6am while smoking. I have been off for 15 days and have had waves of tiredness (almost like feeling hypo-glycemic) - I weened of spinner nicotine and used used a herbal mix from happy high herbs which helped me reduce the amount i was smoking each night, before going cold turkey. I thought the tiredness might be more to do with my appetite being suppressed while smoking. I am dreaming , lucid dreams as well and think I am actually not getting my body into deep sleep even though i am getting 8 hours. While smoking I would not wake up for anything. Either way i am staying clean and staying off - not having any moods swings etc but the sleepiness is a side effect I am struggling to understand. Thanks for posting and good luck with it :)

I agree that these are withdrawal symptoms, but I also believe they are the result of toxins being released. The toxins are marijuana metabolites that are fat-soluble, so they are stored in your body fat. The longer you've smoked, the more you've stored and the longer it will take to "get it out of your system." I smoked for 40 years (starting back when pot was not cultivated as a recreational drug the way it is today.) I'm dealing with all the symptoms mentioned above, especially being tired and irritable. I expect to have a rough month, but I know the rewards will be worth it. I look forward to mental clarity, something I can hardly remember. Best of luck to everyone quitting weed. It will be worth it - you gotta believe that. It just won't be easy.

21 year old here, only be smoking 4 for years and am experienced the SAME FATIGUE! Let's use logic... We're all tired. Obviously it's a common symptom. But I think we are assuming (rightfully) that we should not get tired without smoking and our bodies haven't adjusted yet. Also we are using more mental capacity while being sober so that drains us even more. Either way my Fatigue faded after 1 Month and then I regained full energy after 2 Months! I thought I would never be normal but JUST BE PATIENT! Best of luckkkk don't let the fatigue pull you back into drugs! After all it's better to be sober and tired and high and tired. Thanks for reading!

I am experiencing the same thing! i quit 5 days ago and have been taking 1500mg of niacin everyday to flush as well as restricting my caloric intake to around 1500 and exercising everyday. I am very lean and muscular but since I had been smoking so much i kept falling victim to the munchies (which is why i quit). I can literally sleep for 10 hours easily now as opposed to sleeping 6-7 hours on weed and feeling fine. Here's my theory: Since weed inhibits your REM sleep, I believe that since I quit my brain/body is doing a little catching up (which would also explain my crazy dreams). I do believe you can achieve restful sleep on weed but it is not the same as sleeping substance free. I think the fatigue is a good sign that your body is just adjusting and the parts of your brain that were effected most by weed are adjusting back to normal (neuroplasticity). I am have my B.S. in Neuroscience and am on my way to med school (not that im an expert, but this is my reasoning).
