Hi, I am wearing a holter monitor for 3 days, now, to diagnose my condition, since my heart speeds up enormously after eating. I definately suffer from tachycardia. My ranges after eat are 120-150 bpm. What could be the reason?

POTS (a dysfunction of the autonomic nervous system) can also cause all of these issues, as well as hypoglycemia without diabetes. I’m makes me so upset when doctors just tell people they have anxiety when they don’t investigate everything that could be wrong.
It could possibly be the B vitamins in the one aday, when you are taking them. Most likely anxiety since it has been an issue in the past. Try to avoid caffeine, such as tea, chocolate, and coffee. Try walking to relieve stress. Talk to someone, it can help. Also acid reflux can trigger heart racing... I hope you feel better soon!
Hi Mcar. By chance have you figured anything out in the year that this has happened to you? I would love to learn more as I too am experiencing the same issues. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I hope you get this message and I pray you are doing better. I am 50 years old and this started in my 20’s. I know what you mean when you say it feels like torture. I have missed a lot of vacations wth my family and it has been a strain on my marriage. We are still alive and here. I am finally taking it serious. I say that because though I have been terrified I have to ask myself how terrified have I really been when I continue to not watch what I eat and keep a diary of what I eat. I am doing it now. That’s what matters. I do not believe for one minute if our doctors believed it was serious that they would tell us that we are going to be OK and this is just uncomfortable. I have been placed on different beta blockers and none helped so I choose not to take medication. I am listening to outdoor sounds and taking some time every day to relax and unwind and pray. I am also charting every thing I eat. I have learned that even if you do not have allergies to a certain food you can have an intolerance that can give you similar symptoms. But I have chose to do is pick one food And eat that particular food for four days. If I do not get symptoms I will add something else. I will continue and of course what I will be eating will be healthy. I will let you know how it works for me. I hope you are doing much better and you are more at peace.
You may have "food intolerance" rather than "allergy" to eggs. Food intolerance doesn't show up in tests or pathology or "scopes" or biopsies or X-rays of small intestine (duodenum, or first few inches of small intestine after the stomach). Most common test is to avoid foods that cause - over the course of a few hours - food to pass quickly through digestive tract. That is, "rapid transit", commonly mistaken as diarrhea. High quality pro-biotics that practicing physicians sell online can stop substantial food intolerance. After a month or longer on pro-biotics, might try adding small amounts of foods that cause intolerance or "rapid transit".
I have exactly what you have except I have many other problems that came before.
I have been seeing doctors for a year and a half and I have slowly gone from fully normally functional to completely bed ridden and unable to eat enough food to survive and in such pain that I can't sleep.Yet every doctor keeps saying that there is nothing wrong with me. They don't want to listen to the history of the case.
I've had a lot of these problems too, and went on the Virgin diet a couple of times to try to figure out what foods are causing it. I like tea but even if its decaf I can have problems, so I have to really restrict it to maybe once every week or two. As for food, I know I can't have milk or ice cream or peanuts, and I have narrowed down to corn (the most likely since I sometimes have diarrhea after popcorn) or gluten. Corn is in everything- corn syrup, etc. Lots of time you don't know you're eating it. Drink lots of water.
maybe you should try eating dirt. and listen to the song im bored. its inspiring unique magnificent outgoing oscar winning grammy winning 5 star rating food restaurant yummy song btw. sorry like i was saying eat more baguettes SO healthy.
WELL IM 1,459 MISS SIR
Have you been checked for pancreas or gallbladder sufficiency? Or diabetes? I'm having the same thing happening to me. Triggered by the same foods. Turns out I have a malformation of my pancreas and am waiting to hear on what the next steps are. Did you ever find out anything?
