Opiates can suppress colds, flu's, and all types of illnesses. Opiates are pain killers. They make you numb. This is why you couldnt feel your alergy. The alergy never left. It just got covered up.

Yes, good crack will help. You just have to keep smoking it. Once you stop, soon after you will feel withdrawal.

This is an incredibly late response, but this ranks well on Google search results so it's possible people might stumble across this.

To offer a counter point here, I was able to quit suboxone with absolutely no withdrawals. The key to it is an incredibly long, slow taper. No doctor will instruct you to do this and will try to get you to jump off at 2mg or 1mg, but that will be guaranteed to leave you in pain and suffering for weeks. The key is to take a fraction of what your doctor tells you to take (which will always be high) and stockpile as much suboxone as you can. I took my last refill of 50 strips, which was supposed to be a 30 day supply, and made that last for 8 months. Every few weeks, lower the amount you're taking per day by just a hair. I dosed twice per day to avoid any spikes/dips throughout the day. Toward the end I was only taking doses that were the size of a flax seed or so. I then went down to dosing once a day, then every other day, then not at all.

I am not exaggerating when I say that I felt ZERO discomfort. I ended up quitting with several strips left when I realized that I had forgotten to take my dose the day before (this was when I was dosing every other day, so I hadn't dosed in three days) and felt no different from my dose days. It can be done, I have been sober for 7 years now. You just have to advocate for yourself because chances are your doctor will not take the time to taper your dose as it's more lucrative for big pharma to keep you on the meds for the rest of your life.
