I've seen a ton of lazy gal beauty hacks trending recently and I wanted to test out a few of them, so I thought I'd round up some hacks from some of the internet's most popular sites, so you could have a go, too!
Hack Review Number 7: Whenever you apply concealer, pat it into your skin, never drag or rub it. When applying it under your eyes, apply it in trianglular shapes, with one line going along your nose, the other under your eye, and the other joining the two lines together, instead of the typical semi-circle. It just looks better and works better at hiding puffiness.

Hey! You know what? This works pretty well. I'd add — if your skin is a little bit red, use a concealer with a hint of green. It'll counteract the redness.

Hack Review Number 8 Pop a little light eyeliner on the rim of your lower eyelid to make you like ever so wide-eyed and bushy tailed.

This is a super-nifty tip for those of us who routinely don't get enough sleep — or who might be a little bit hung over. It mimics the white of your eyes, making your eyes look larger. If you want to apply kohl liner too, put it undernearth your lashes rather than on your waterline.

Hair Hacks

Hack Review Number 9: How to actually use dry shampoo? Spritz in short bursts, shaking the can regularly and holding the can approximately 25cm from the scalp. Leave for two to three minutes, then massage into the roots using your fingertips. Brush through, then change your parting to give your hair more volume. You can also give your hair a little backcomb before changing the parting, too.

For extra color and volume, choose a dry shampoo that has a hint of color. I use a dry shampoo that's colored dark brown, and it helps to disguise my roots when I need to go to the salon. You can also get formulas with hints of glitter — which I heartily, heartily recommend.

Hack Review Number 10: Dry your hair with a tee-shirt rather than a towel when you wash it.

I mean, really? This sounds bizarre. But it works. Really. Keep an old tee in your airing cupboard for just this purpose.

Hack Review Nunber 11: Use a mascara wand to apply serum or oil to your hair, or to tame flyaways when your hair is up in a bun.

I actually have a John Frieda tube that looks just like mascara that I took on a hand-luggage-only trip, so I can attest to this hack working rather brilliantly.

Hack Review Number 12: Use your bobby bins bobbly side down, dum-dum. Plus, spray them with hairspray for extra hold.

When I first lear about this, I tell you what — I was absolutely gobsmacked. Like, no way, the answer to them slipping out of my hair has been staring me in the face all this time.

Nail Hacks

Hack Review Number 13: Mix a little cornstarch into nail polish to turn a gloss into a matte finish.

It works! Genius!

Hack Review Number 14: When you're growing out a manicure, apply glitter top coat to the bottom of the nail, then blend it out in an ombre effect. It'll last for ages. Plus, it's super pretty.

I didn't do this one, again... I'm sucky with manicures. But, the picture below should illustrate that it works a treat.
