which product did you use of the whole range of LACTO PAFI thanks! and how often did you apply it on your face? morning and night?
Hi joellie if I do get a breakout now it's only very minor as a tiny red patch would appear and it reminds me to treat more as I tend to forget that I need to keep on top of it. The conditioner is called head and shoulders, you can get the shampoo and conditioner. The cream I use is called simple cream, it has no perfume or anything in it. What country are you from? Let me know if you have any other questions, or you could e-mail me if you like.

Please try and not to use steroids on your skin. I've put a post on here as I used to suffer from it very bad on my face and I'm now able to treat it myself without creams of the doctors. Even when I used to go to the doctors they could never treat it properly and make it go away. Let me know if you need any help as I know how much of a confidence knocker it can be.

Use virgin coconut oil and Do yoga excercise...really Helpful..Worked for me....Also use flax seed oil in your diet
I've tried upping flax seed oil in my diet (maybe not enough) and even tried coconut oil topically and orally and I cant get my skin to stop plugging up with dead skin. My rosacea is a mess and I had to apply a thin layer of Pramosone lotion. Its a 1% cortisone cream but i had surgery two days ago and I came home with a rash from the pain meds. I've used it twice already and dont plan on continuing because I know how dangerous it can be. I have such sensitive skin that I can even use head and shoulders shampoo on my face. Its too harsh. I was trying Cynthia Baileys Calming Zinc Bar but this too was way too much for my skin. Washing gentle doesnt help either because it doesnt cut thru the gunk...what other ideas does anyone have? I'm maxed out on supplements as well and am thinking about those light therapy boxes.
Don't use head and shoulders shampoo on your face use the head and conditioner on your face. The shampoo will be to harsh for anyone :)
YES I did apply the head and shoulders conditionier and it didnt help at all. Ive applied it several times in the last two days and no relief...ugh it still is scaly and dry and red. i just dont know what to treat first, the redness or dryness
It's only 2 days, no cream would take it away in that time unless you were using steroids with it. The redness is just a result of inflammation and the scaliness with your skin cells multiplying too quick. When I use the conditioner the first thing I begin to see is the redness going down and the dry skin multiplying too quick will only dissapear after about a week when the redness is gone. Do you use soap on your skin?
I apply it as I would a cream. You don't even have to wash it off as it's not an irritant. I would use a ph neutral soap and and dry and then apply the conditioner after that. You can even apply it to the affected areas before bed. I promise you it works, I've been through all the stress and embarrassment of it.
ok wayne I will continue to try it. Its weird because the areas that I have skin buildup/dryness/flakienss is my Tzone which is not red. My nose and chin might be a little pinkish and my forehead has abosolutly no redness whatsoever so I was thinking once I applied it, I would see the flakes disappear as I thought it would moisturize the area. I guess your right on not giving it a chance. I dont mind applying it to my forehead as I dont get too many clogged pores but my chin area gets deep hardened sebum plugs here that can only be removed by extraction and Im so scared to apply the conditioner here. I guess nothing ventured nothing gained. How about rosacea related spots on my face? They crop up out of nowhere and are flat and always very red but not dry at all. Nothing I apply has ever worked to alleviate the redenss of these except a steroid cream.
Honestly I have all this with the roscea and everything. It's the dermatitus actually blocking your pores as I get blocked pores on my nose when I get an outbreak but I still apply the conditioner to their and never have any problems. As for the flakes it wont take them away as a moisturiser as I noticed when I treat mine it makes the flakes more apparent but it soon begins to clear up after a week or so and then the dryness goes. I have found on my face that it doesn't go red until the dermatitus has got a better hold and the flakiness without redness just means it's less severe in that area. Please keep in touch :)
Hi Kay I use Head and Shoulders conditioner as a cream. Do you live in the UK?
