Red, itchy blotches on body after showering

Seriously I wanted to know how it is caused and what could be the solution? Itching starts from head to toe and after itching skin start to swell and even after bathing also skin starts swelling n appear red rashes.

I have patches of bumps on my right arm my thighs and the lower part of my back it fares up in the morning after my shower it goes down but when I put clothes on I'm itching again now I have bumps behind my knees creases of my arms I wondering is it the washing powder soap, bath soap or the home that I have moved in about a month ago

That's not how hydrochloric acid is made. Ascorbic acid will neutralize chlorine. However, hydrochloric acid and chlorine together will make toxic chlorine gas, so DEFINITELY DON'T use a hydrochloric acid shower filter!!

My water is softened filtered water at my house but if I take a cold, hot or any type of shower or bath I still get red blotches or hives that itch on my chest, neck, upper back and sometimes my face. This has been going on for maybe 2 years now and I thought it would go away, yet it never has I have not yet told my doctor yet but I might soon.

I'm 13 and I've been getting this for about a year. I have no clue as to what causes it, I used to think it was when the shampoo/conditioner in my hair gets on my chest and back but I changed brands and it still happens. Pls help

I've had this for about 10 years. I lived most of those in a house with it's own well, no chlorine added. We thought it might be something else in the water, but I get it on vacations too. Now I live in a big city in Japan and the summers are so hot my own sweat makes me itch. I can't think of anything but the heat, cold showers does not make them appear, and showering in cold water after a hot shower makes them go away quicker.

Hello I hope some one can help me I experience the same kinda and I was sunburned and blistered a lot when I was a kid and I had my doctor check me for scabies (thank god that's not it no offence to anyone who has them and I hope that your able to beat them) but I feel like I get bit sometimes also and I don't know how to find if it's some kind of mold or fungus my apartment has its fair share of dust but I don't know what it could be I have and get these red bumps that itch but it's only on my forearms and somewhat my shoulders and back where my shoulders and back meet and I do have hair on my forearms and I had a condition called alligator skin when I was a kid also .

ugh oh my god same! i don't know why this happens but it's really irritating bc more of my friends notice it and it makes it hard to go to the pool w people cos they will ask what's wrong like u said.

Pittosporum folliculitis treatment ketoconazole 2% dandruff shampoo as a body wash and use in Luke warm water and leave on for 5 minutes. You will need a prescription for the 2% shampoo but you can buy the 1% shampoo at Walgreens
