Red, itchy blotches on body after showering

Question

As soon as I step out of the shower, all these little red bumps and blotches appear on by upper body, especially my upper chest. These bumps are really itchy and cover my arms, chest, and back. I have no idea what is causing this. I have tried switching different shampoos and body washes, thinking I can rule different things out. I have tried no scent shampoos and sensitive skin body wash. What is wrong with me??!!??!!

I had a similar issue but solved with Manuka honey. Left it on my skin for 20 min (every couple of days) before showing and the rash went away after a couple weeks. It drastically at first asks stopped itching straight away

Yeah it's either a heart rash heat bumps or just an allergic reaction to your sweat and hot water I have the same thing and I get it all overy my torso and arms it's a lot worse on my arms on the inside of my elbow.

Its folliculitis...your pores/follicles open in the shower...then you add hot water...heat causes swelling and inflammation...the hest from the water causes your pores to get enflamed....they get itchy for the same reason a bug bite does or sun burn does. Lots of differentt cells rush to the surface of the skin to see and try to fix the problem. When you remove youself from the heat and water the pores close pretty immediately and this whole process calms down. Totally normal but if you want to fix take cool or luke warm showers and wash with baby shampoo only.

Same, but it's not just when I get wet. It will come when I'm with a blanket, shower, basically when I'm hot. I'm only thirteen and it's been happening for seven months now. I hate it so much.

I get these too. It's just a flat red blotchy rash in small areas around my chest neck face upper back and sometimes arms. Also occasionally accompanied by a few sporaticly placed small red bumps with no head. All my skin is itchy. It usually goes away within half an hour to an hour. Only happens when I shower or take a bath, almost always warm or hot water.

I know this is an old post, but I can help!!! I had an allergy test done and found out I'm allergic to a lot of stuff! I'm doing elimination diet. I always get hives after my showers no matter how hot or cold. After cutting out eggs and dairy, it stopped! I just added egg back in to see what happened, and I got them again! It may be a food allergy!

I have exactly the same problem. Some days are worse. I have narrowed it down to stress and anxiety.
