Red, itchy blotches on body after showering

As soon as I step out of the shower, all these little red bumps and blotches appear on by upper body, especially my upper chest. These bumps are really itchy and cover my arms, chest, and back. I have no idea what is causing this. I have tried switching different shampoos and body washes, thinking I can rule different things out. I have tried no scent shampoos and sensitive skin body wash. What is wrong with me??!!??!!

Comes after a hot bath, Japanese style, in winter ....spots develop equally across both sides of body, trunk and soft skin under arms, looks like mite bites. maybe 20-30 separate marks, circula , not itchy. Lasts a few days. Calomine lotion seems to calm it down, and reduced heat in the shower.
Thanks!!! I kinda figured it was something like that!!!
I am having same problem...I don't know what it is....I'm scared what the drs will say I have...Im a clean person who showers at least twice a day...
I had the same problem!! It's not lice or pests because when I wake up or anything I feel perfectly fine! Just when my body gets in contact with water!! I only take cold to warm showers because Hot Shower is what causes this to happen!! And the soap I use!! I can't use bars of soap on body wash and only a certain kind!!! It Sucks!
You are right! I not only suffered from this after showers, but also after jogging; so I knew it had nothing to do with the water. I'm surprised I didn't see anyone else mention that they got them after exercising as well.
Moisturiser your skin frequently.
I have had the same thing my dad thinks it might be the laundry detergent or the softener we use and I literally want to cry when it in the shower and after I'm still feeling the pain on my chest and it been about an hour and a half since I got out of the shower.
Look up urticaria from sweat. I forgot the full name
Why would you assume that it's just heat? That doesn't really make sense. FYI parasites and fungus are both very real issues, and sadly more common than most people think.
