Why was I born with two different color eyelashes

I have the same issue. I have one light blonde eye brow and blonde eye lashes on that side and the other eye brow and lashes are dark. I also had a streak of blonde in my hair on the side of the blonde eye brow and lashes. No one notices because I wear mascara, brush my eye brows with eye brow make up and my hair is highlited blonde! That’s funny that you and I have the same traits!! I have never met anyone else that has that!! We must be unique!!

I too have blonde eyelashes and eyebrow on the left side and dark ones on the right. My vision on the blonde side is definitely worse. I do now dye the blonde eyebrow, but people I've known years say they never really noticed it!!! I am surprised to hear that so many others also have this.

My daughter has this too :) dark eye lashes and brow on the left and strawberry blonde eyelashes/brow on the right. When I first noticed it as an infant, I thought she had just been rubbing her eyes on the one side causing her to lose those lashes and grow back funny. But no, she's just unique line you all and has two different colours.

well I was born with less pigment in my right eye so my eyelashes are different color. The condition is only different by one gene in your dna. It is incredible rare only maybe a half of a tenth of the population has it around the world. It is pretty special to have this. People who are like you and me are different from the majority. Its harmless

one is blonde one is black

Its so strange that you say that. I've never made the connection but it is the same for me. My left eyelashes are blonde and my right eyelashes are black. My left eyebrow is also lighter than my right. My vision is drastically impaired on my left and normal on my right side. My right eye is dominate so as long as I have both open my vision seems normal. I do get headaches easily though and my vision blurs quickly when reading.

I also was born with white eyelashes on my left side and dark brown eyelashes on my right side. I also have white patches of hair only on the left side of my head in more than one place.

I have the same thing blonde on left and brown on the right. but what is interesting is that the hair on my head is brown with dirty blond underneath.

and a little bit of strawberry blond thrown in. (same guy).

Mine are blonde on right and brown on left. My vision is the right eye is very bad.

I have a the exact same thing it’s actually cool but I get sad upon the fact I can’t wear mascara like other girls my age. Also i have a blonde on on my left and a brown one on my right lol
