Same here, i have it at the moment, having my ex :/ come over and pop it later. He’s the only one I’m 100% comfy with about this. Plus he popped the first one i got a few months ago. The first time i got it i didn’t know why it appeared but it was in my pelvic area. It hurt then too because it was in my pant area and it would put pressure on it. Finally I told my ex to just pop it…and it was so painful I cried, but the next day it hurt less and less till it went away. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
I am over weight so i decided to go to the gym, the last time I went was last week, i was running and my inner thigh started to hurt. I thought it was just a rub burn and "oh it will go away" but no it has become a mushy ball of puss and blood. And it hurts like hell!!! I can’t walk or sit! >.< but it sound to me like I just need to lose some pounds, but the thing is when I was skinny and fit I always had big thighs and they always rubbed against each other… but I am glad I’m not the only one with this. Suck!
I can't give advice but i say don't be embarrassed that’s what the doctors are for to help us out. So if it comes back again or doesn’t go away I’m going to the doctors. Screw the fear I want to walk and not cringe with pain every step. so good luck to all!
Aside from the surgery I have been able to keep them under control by eating healthy. I ran a marathon last year and during my train I was on a strict diet. No alcohol, beef or pork. I did not get one boil the entire time! 6 months free. After training I went back to eating like a pig. And bam! They came back. There has to be a connection there.
Hi, since no one is posting follow-ups I thought I'd be one of the first. Bump started growing in front of my ear, right beside the tragus (google it). I thought it may have been an enlarged lymph node, but I never saw a doctor. I watched it for a few days, listened to google advice that it's probably no big deal... eventually it stopped getting bigger (and soarer) but it was definitely a noticeable bruised lump on my face at its biggest. Well I was letting it go hoping it would resolve itself, when in the middle of the night I happened to wake up and noticed fluid on my finger; knew immediately that my lump had sprung a leak. At that time, in the middle of the night, I squeezed out the most vile bloody liquid I'd ever seen come from my body. I squeezed and squeezed until the putridness stopped gushing forth... and now it's still a bump on my face, but it's smaller and a little darker. I have a feeling it will drain more; I'll try after work. It's awful, and there's probably going to be a wound on my face for a little while. The bump was some kind of bloody abscess, and nothing I've ever had before. I'm 33 years old and have not been sick lately, nor do I get sick more than once a year, if that. Hope this helps somebody, not to say your thing is the same as my thing. I still don't know the rhyme or reason to it. http://www.webmd.com/a-to-z-guides/abcess
Ive read all the above posts, and it sounds like something I have.
The thing is, I have it ( this is so embarrassing) right next to my a-hole which makes it really irritating to sit down because it itches all the time. It has been there for about a week maybe and it is getting larger. Should I pop it or wait for it to pop itself? Ive had one on the same place before but it has never been this big.
Help me out!
I to have had them, just popped one just now, and i thought I gave birth to a baby, because the toliet seat was all red. LOL. Ill find out what doc has to say, one of these days. if i remember lol
This has worked incredibly well.
I get them too and I am so glad that I looked this up and at least I know I am not a gross freak or something. Mine get quite big and they also bleed when popped but sometimes there is also puss in them. When I get one that is not ready to be lanced I put a bandaid on it and it makes it much easier to walk and a lot less tender. I will take the band aid off at night, wipe it with some peroxide and then put some antibiotic ointment (polysporin) on it. After a few days when it is ready to pop I use a disinfected needle and lance it from the side, and put the needle almost all the way in. I leave it for a few seconds and then give it a little sqeeze and GUSH all the yucky stuff comes out. You may need to cover it again for a day or so and then lance it again and then it should go away. I know it sounds like quite the ordeal but it works. Hope this helps. Oh and also don't just squeeze them to pop them, do the method with the needle because you can cause scarring by squeezing them and also more pain and inflamation.:-(
