Red, itchy blotches on body after showering

As soon as I step out of the shower, all these little red bumps and blotches appear on by upper body, especially my upper chest. These bumps are really itchy and cover my arms, chest, and back. I have no idea what is causing this. I have tried switching different shampoos and body washes, thinking I can rule different things out. I have tried no scent shampoos and sensitive skin body wash. What is wrong with me??!!??!!

you're also wrong for thinking fluorine or chlorine is going to kill you. you can drink chlorine free water and die of dysentry if you want, fine by me.
That's not how it works, chlorene, vitamin v, and water wouldn't produce hydrochloric acid, you need morr than chlorene water and an acid.

Please I have similar problem..have u gotten rid of urs?
I get it and I drink lots of water everyday
I don't think it's flouride, because I lived in a house with a chlorine and flouride free untreated well and had the same problem.
I too have the same problem.
It's not an allergy.
Its just that your body reacts to sudden change in the temperature.
Your body is cold..or hotter when you bath, and as soon as you're out of the shower, small red itchy patches appears on chest, near shoulders, upper back and on arms near shoulder.
And when you scratch them, they gets worse..and new ones appears.
The main reason for having these allergic symptoms is because of having either too much coffee, tea, sugar, and all those things which are considered as 'warmer foods'.
Avoid too much coffee.
Avoid too much eggs.oncrease your water intake, drink fruit juice twice daily and use a body moisturiser to keep it hydrated.
It helped me.
Its not an allergy, but just your body's temperature maintaining system is messed up.
Sometimes, people sneeze when they wakes up, or sneeze whenever they're out from shower.
It comes along with it.
Hope I helped.
Can you explain the filter you used? My wife has similar spots especially after showering.
I know what you are all going through and it's terrible and it sucks. But it is all most likely caused by an allergy to dust mites. The water on your skin leaves you humid and there is a lot of dust in the air, as well as on your towel, this attracts dust mites who feed on dead skin cells. Dust mites don't always cause problems but an allergy to them can range from bothersome to pretty bad. I suggest an over the counter antihistamine and a visit to an allergy specialist. Though I have to say I've suffered from a server dust mite allergy since I was 4, 21 years now, and I haven't had much luck, especially after showers.
What's a shower filter?
I get them too, mine comes because of two reasons.....i emter the shower sweaty, or I change from soap alot....maybe it's that....
the reason your body becomes itchy and red after a shower may very well be because your using water thats too hot causing heat rash. this happens on my stomach after I take extremely hot showers. I recognize these little bumps on my stomach because I also get them on my stomach during the summer after playing outside for long periods of time.
This is really helpful. I started showering with cold water and I barely get any itches. Zyrtec really helps too. Thanks for the advices.
The vit c actually neutralizes the chlorine in the water. Google it.
