Why was I born with two different color eyelashes

I was born with blond eyelashes over my left eye and black eyelashes over my right eye. It is very noticable to me so I avoid mackup as this excentuates the fact that they don't match. I have met many people with different color eyes but never any one else with different color eyelashes. What is a good way to deal with this?

We don't like it, people stare longer and harder at us! They can't figure out what's different so quickly so we are treated like freaks
Unlike others with this I was not born with it in the 4th grade the eyelashes on my left eye started to grow in white. Not blonde but white. My right eye being unchanged. I do have very poor version in my right eye, I have a problem where everything is darker in my right eye as if the lights were off I am legally blind in that eye. My left eye the one I use to see is white eyelashes and that's my good eye I tend to have blood vessels pop (red lines on the eye) in that eye. These standards out a lot due to the white eyelashes centering that.
Would u consider tinting the blonde lashes to black as well
The waardenburg syndrome.
i also have the same thing was more noticeable in my as a baby because it was the whole of my right eye that was blonde/white eyelashes. I was born with jet black which im told is a sign of true blonde. Anyways up until i was about 7 or 8 i also had violet eyes as well as the blonde hair and eyelashes so it was really noticeable on me. Now im 24 and have ash blonde hair blue eyes with green and only the end tip of my is blonde white eyelashes. Im interested in the fact that every one commenting is some form of blonde its interesting maybe its some form of blonde gene or something like that.
I also have white eyelashes on my left eyelid and black on my right. I have met another person from Germany who was the same. I always though it was a German thing. My husband calls me his calico. I wear as much mascara as I can. In school I was called a witch. Most people like it when I wear no makeup. But it feels weird not too. I get asked to many questions.
I also have this but It's not just my eyelashes but it's also in other parts of my facial hair like my eyebrows (left is blond and right is black) it's really strange but I don't maid it.
I have the exact same thing! Blonde right eyelash/lighter brow and dark on the left, with a big copper red streak on the right side as well. Now at 20, I've actually gotten a lot more copper streaks throughout that right side, but there's no copper at all on the left! The streaks are one thing that I've really loved about my appearance growing up as I used to receive amazed comments about it from peers and hairdressers, but the blonde eyelashes are something that I fix regularly with tinting haha
I have the same thing and mine are also Brown on my right I and blonde on my left
I was born with brown eyelashes on my left side and my right side blonde and same thing for my parents eyebrows and I was born with brown hair with a lot of blonde streaks in my hair thing both my parents have really dark brown hair almost like brown hair and I'm not adopted
I alsos have this problem. I have one side where my eyebrow and eyelashes and blond, the other brown. I can get my eyebrows tinted to hide those but my eyelashes are more promenant. I would love to know the reason why?
The entire left side of me has brown hair and my right is blonde. But my right eye lash is half and half.
I'm 60. I have an almost black eyelash on the left side and a blond one on the right. I have never met another me! I don't think it is very common.
"it is so god can find me in an emergency" I quipped, even though I'm an atheist, when my sweet elderly new step-grandmother asked me, when I was in my early 20s "why" my (also left) eyebrow and eyelash were blond/white. I had no idea there were so many of us that god needed to be able to locate quickly... haaa. Around 11 I was talking with one of my sisters when she declared "your mustache is the same thing!" It turned out to be more orange on the "blond" side, but not in the dark brown beard.. Around the same age as I made that "god can find me" joke, I decided to "hide it" (and so, from god... haaa) I think I just once had a beautician dye the lashes and brow but after that did it myself (using specifically "for beards" dye as the brow is a very course hair; at first not doing the lashes, not wanting vanity to risk my sight) but now I generally do dye both the lash and brow such that they are slightly "too dark" for a week or so, then passing through "matching and fading into "too light" ... so I often use a black laundry marker on the eyebrow to supplement it in between, often for extended periods when I am lazy to dye it ... but that can have a bluish-black quality that an occasional person has asked me about when it's been a long while since I've used proper dye and direct sunlight is on my brow. ooops! I started coloring it because I think this can be a "subtle" feature and I rationalized that I didn't want to engage with me and then walk away thinking "there is something 'off' about him, but I can't quite put my finger on it..." Thanks to everyone who posted here... proving yet again the expression: "Yes... you are unique.... just like everybody else!" Haaaa.
On the right side of my face my eyebrow and eyelash is blonde on the left i have dark brown almost a blackish eyebrow and eyelash. Im beyond insecure about it so i plan on getting them tattooed for my 16th birthday in a few days. Much respect to those of you who are confident about it but i could never.
